Most parents are against making Covid-19 vaccination mandatory for school children, but most Democrats favor such a mandate.
That's according to the latest Rasmussen Reports.
The survey found that 31% of American adults believe public schools should make Covid-19 vaccination mandatory for students, while 58% are against making the vaccine mandatory.
In August, 43% favored schools requiring Covid-19 vaccination for children.
Fifty percent (50%) of the survey respondents were parents or grandparents of school-age children, and 61% of them oppose schools making Covid-19 vaccination mandatory.
When it comes to party affiliation there is a sharp political divide over vaccine mandates.
Fifty-four percent (54%) of Democrats are in favor of public schools mandating Covid-19 for students, while 79% of Republicans oppose vaccine mandates.
Among those not affiliated with either major party, 63% are against schools making Covid-19 mandatory for students and 23% favor such a mandate.
