Journalist Alex Berenson Tells The Defender: ‘They Are Censoring Dissenting Views and That Is Wrong’

Via Children’s Health Defense

Alex Berenson thinks social media companies have gone too far in censoring opposing views.

Alex Berenson thinks social media companies have gone too far in censoring opposing views.

In an interview with The Defender, Berenson shared how he was banned from Twitter for 12 hours because he linked to a thread containing data that challenged the mainstream’s narrative that COVID vaccines are effective.

The former New York Times reporter and author of 12 novels and two nonfiction books — and currently author of the Substack publication “Unreported Truths” — said Twitter suddenly flagged several of his posts about COVID.

Berenson said:

“My post said something really odd is going on –– the vaccines are failing, and they are. I linked to a long thread of data showing vaccine uptake is roughly inversely correlated with number of infections –– countries that have had the most uptake are now in the middle of the third wave. This person just pointed it out and I linked to it.”

Berenson said Twitter tagged his post for being false and misleading, disabled his account for 12 hours and prohibited people from interacting with his tweet.

Alex Berenson Twitter

“I think I will be kicked off if I don’t back off — which I’m not going to do,” Berenson said.

When asked about the increase in censorship by social media platforms, Berenson explained:

“It’s terrible. I shouldn’t be censored and RFK Jr. shouldn’t be censored and Naomi Wolf shouldn’t be censored … It’s a free country and Twitter is effectively a universal platform. I understand it’s a private company, but it’s a really important source of distribution of news and they have a responsibility to allow free speech.”

Berenson said if social media companies want to go against what’s wrong, then maybe they should lose liability protection. He pointed out how the Biden administration is pushing social media companies to make it harder for people like him to get their message out.

On July 15, White House Press Secretary Jenn Psaki said during a press briefing the Biden administration, through it’s senior staff members and COVID-19 team, is actively working with social media companies to censor certain views deemed “misinformation.”

Psaki said:

“In terms of actions…we have taken — or we’re working to take, I should say — from the federal government: We’ve increased disinformation research and tracking within the Surgeon General’s office. We’re flagging problematic posts for Facebook that spread disinformation. We’re working with doctors and medical professionals … who are popular with their audiences with accurate information and boost trusted content.”

Berenson said this in response to Psaki’s comments:

“They are censoring dissenting views and that is wrong. Suppose the next administration, instead of stopping The New York Times from selling papers, tells Exxon not to sell any diesel to The Times so they can’t print it and deliver it. ‘We’re not censoring. We’re just asking one private company to step in against another private company.’ That’s essentially what they’re doing.”

Berenson pointed out that Psaki was guilty of spreading misinformation in her July 16 White House press briefing when she said COVID vaccines had been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and had gone through the gold standard of the FDA approval process. Yet, she wasn’t censored.

Here’s what Psaki said:

“The risk and impact there is that this type of information magnifies …  the risk of potential side effects associated with western vaccines. This is what … some of this misinformation is doing — and misleads the public by falsely alleging that mRNA vaccines are untested and, thus, risky, even though many of them are approved and have gone through the gold standard of the FDA approval process.

“But, certainly, pushing information out there that these tested, approved vaccines are ineffective and unhelpful — a lot of people on these platforms, they’re not discriminating, as you all know, between the source of the information. And that is damaging as well.”

Twitter is not supposed to make political choices. It’s supposed to be politically neutral, Berenson explained.

He said:

“If the vaccines were nearly 100% effective, people would be lined up for them in the street. They wouldn’t be having a problem convincing 30 to 40% of the country to get the vaccine. The reason they’re having a problem is because side effects are real and a lot of people are having them after the shot, COVID isn’t that dangerous and there are questions about their effectiveness.

“It’s not because of me. I am one person with a Twitter account. We are up against an entire establishment here. If the message was more honest and what they were saying were actually true, there would not be a problem getting people vaccinated.”

Berenson, whose children have received their childhood vaccines, backed into the vaccination issue because of COVID and believes the solution to the speech issue is more speech.

“Obviously there are people who say terrible things on Twitter and everywhere else,” Berenson said. “But outside of constitutionally recognized hate speech, it shouldn’t be suppressed.”

Berenson said it’s upsetting to him that his former colleagues at The Times don’t seem to feel strongly about this — that it’s okay to deplatform people.

“They make a living writing stories powerful people don’t like and one day they’re going to wish they had [cared about this issue],” Berenson said.

When it comes to media reporting, Berenson said when he worked at The Times, reporting was to be objective and fair. Today, “the media is much more willing to attack,” he said.

Berenson added:

“There is a new aggressive movement with opinionated news stories, and what’s dangerous is that places like The Times still believe and present themselves as neutral when they aren’t. Social media companies and Wikipedia supposedly have neutral fact checkers of information, and that’s not true.

“Whenever a fact checker says something is partially true or partially false, they’re stating an opinion. Then what happens is Facebook says that ‘our fact checkers say X or Y’ and really what they’re doing is using the screen of unbiased fact-checking to remove information they don’t like.”

Berenson explained:

“If I say that VAERS [the CDC’s Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System] shows that 5,000 people died after getting the vaccine, that is true. You can say it doesn’t prove those people died after getting the vaccine, and that is also true, but my statement that 5,000 people died is still true.

“To say that I’m lying or RFK Jr. is lying is wrong. To say that we shouldn’t be allowed to express our opinion is doubly wrong.”

Berenson said he doesn’t know if reporters are intentionally engaging in reporting that isn’t fair or accurate.

“It’s hard to get in other peoples’ heads and it’s hard to know how smart they are and whether they understand the data and how much of it is people repeating stuff to each other,” he said.

Berenson wrote for The Times from 1999 to 2010. For the past 18 months he has posted frequently on Substack about COVID.

US Won't Investigate Governors Who Ordered Nursing Homes To Accept COVID-Positive Residents

US Won't Investigate Governors Who Ordered Nursing Homes To Accept COVID-Positive Residents

Authored by Zachary Stieber via The Epoch Times,

The U.S. Department of Justice has opted against investigating any of the Democrat governors who last year ordered nursing homes to accept residents who tested positive for COVID-19 against the recommendations of health groups.

Federal officials reviewed information they received from New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and New Jersey last year regarding the orders.

Based on the review, they’re not opening Civil Rights of Institutionalized Persons Act (CRIPA) investigations in the first three states, Joe Gaeta, deputy assistant attorney general, told Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) in a letter on Friday.

The act enables the attorney general to launch a case in court against a state or local government, or its employees or agents, when officials suspect or find that people in institutions owned or run by such a government have had their rights denied.

The Department of Justice opened a CRIPA probe into conditions at two nursing facilities operated by the state of New Jersey in October 2020, but has given no indication that it is probing New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy.

Scalise, the ranking member of the House Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis, reacted strongly to the refusal to investigate Murphy or governors of the other states, all Democrats.

It is outrageous that the Department of Justice refuses to investigate the deadly ‘must admit’ orders issued by governors in New York, Pennsylvania, and Michigan that resulted in the deaths of thousands of senior citizens. Where is the justice for nursing home victims and their grieving families?” he said in a statement.

“These deadly orders contradicted the CDC’s guidance, and needlessly endangered the most vulnerable among us to the deadly COVID-19 virus,” he added, referring to guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The CDC issued guidance in March 2020, before the orders were released, saying COVID-positive patients could be released from healthcare facilities to long-term care facilities but if that happened, the facilities should be equipped with “adequate personal protective equipment supplies and an ability to adhere to infection prevention and control recommendations for the care of COVID-19 patients.”

“Preferably, the patient would be placed at a facility that has already cared for COVID-19 cases, in a specific unit designated to care for COVID-19 residents,” the guidance stated.

The orders in question were imposed by Cuomo and the others early in the COVID-19 pandemic. They informed nursing home operators that they could not turn away residents solely on the basis of a confirmed or suspected diagnosis of COVID-19.

Health groups like The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine warned against the orders, stating in a resolution in March 2020 that “admitting patients with suspected or documented COVID-19 infection represents a clear and present danger to all of the residents of a nursing home.”

Large percentages of deaths pinned to COVID-19 in the four states took place among nursing homes.

In Pennsylvania, 9,556 deaths have been among long-term care facility residents, according to state data. That’s approximately 34 percent of the state’s death toll.

Governors have insisted the orders did not lead to more COVID-19 deaths among nursing homes and other long-term care facilities, which house groups that are most vulnerable to COVID-19, the disease caused by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, even as nursing home deaths were up by 32 percent last year.

Cuomo, for instance, trumpeted a state report that claimed staff members and visitors were to blame for bringing the virus into nursing homes, though the report was quickly questioned by some.

The offices of Cuomo and Wolf did not respond to requests for comment. Spokespersons for Murphy declined to comment. Whitmer’s office confirmed the receipt of a letter from the DOJ informing her that the state would not be investigated.

In Radical Affront To Civil Liberties, The Government Is Branding Non-Violent Jan. 6 Defendants 'Terrorists'

'Terrorist' Paul Hodgkins

This week, the first felony sentence was handed down in relation to what’s popularly called the “insurrection” of January 6, 2021. Though he only pleaded guilty to a single count of “obstruction of an official proceeding,” defendant Paul Hodgkins — whose criminal act entailed milling around the Senate chamber for approximately 15 minutes — nonetheless found himself branded a “terrorist” in open court by the US Government. Per prosecutors’ own admission, Hodgkins committed no acts of physical violence, and wielded no weapons. He was also never formally accused of any “terrorist” offenses, at least in a way that the Government would actually have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. Regardless, prosecutors have now introduced a theory in which it’s alleged that Hodgkins and other non-violent Jan. 6 defendants were operating within a supposed “context” of terrorism — and it’s this “context” that they’re citing to argue for more severe punishment.

Ultimately, Hodgkins was sentenced to eight months in prison — a long time to be confined to a cage, of course, but perhaps not the length of incarceration one would typically associate with a deadly act of “terrorism.” So there’s something incongruous about this newly concocted terrorism-designation approach. Here is how Special Assistant US Attorney Mona Sedky rolled out her new “terrorism” theory at Hodgkins’ sentencing hearing on July 19:

Read that carefully. The Government admits that Hodgkins’ actual conduct does not meet any legally cognizable definition of “terrorism,” but nonetheless argues that Hodgkins was “part” of a domestic terrorism event — i.e., partook in the commission of a terrorist attack — and is therefore effectively a terrorist! They’re more or less saying, “We can’t meet the legal burden to actually prove that he’s guilty of terrorism, so we’re just going to kind of vaguely assert as much in this slippery, unfalsifiable way.” Expanding the applicability of “terrorism” in such a manner is self-evidently menacing to civil liberties — it’s essentially the Government claiming the ability to accuse you of terrorism without ever having to clear the due process hurdles of legally establishing your guilt. Sedky added:
“Framing”? “Context”? What? When did “domestic terrorism” become some kind of interpretive literary principle? These are weasel-words, the vagueness of which enable the Government to level one of the most extraordinary accusations it could possibly level against a citizen — that he is a terrorist — without having to subject that designation to meaningfully adversarial scrutiny. It’s all the more galling, because again, Hodgkins was not even alleged to have committed any physical violence. “The Government nonetheless recognizes that Hodgkins did not personally engage in or espouse violence or property destruction,” wrote Sedky in a sentencing memo. But in the “context” of Jan. 6 — the hyper-charged, seismically hyperbolic political climate that these proceedings are taking place within — the “symbolism” of the affair has taken primacy.

Judge Randolph D. Moss of the DC District Court (a Democratic appointee, if anyone’s keeping score) was particularly aggrieved that Hodgkins had carried a “TRUMP 2020” flag when he meandered onto the Senate floor, as opposed to an American flag. Moss opined that this choice of flags was evidence of Hodgkins “declaring his loyalty to a single individual over the nation.” That’s quite a feat of mind-reading — who knew that sporting a presidential candidate’s campaign paraphernalia presumptively indicates “disloyalty” to the US? But the Judge confessed to being extremely fixated on “the symbolism” of Hodgkins’ act, which allegedly “captured the threat to democracy that we all witnessed that day.” As though Hodgkins banded together with the shirtless yodeling Shaman guy to land a death blow against “democracy” — whatever that means — by temporarily interrupting a ceremonial legislative session.

It gets creepier. While the Government conceded that Hodgkins engaged in no violent conduct, wielded no weapons, and caused no physical injury, they turned around and invented a new type of “injury” he allegedly inflicted in order to demand a harsher prison sentence. This “injury” conceived by the Government appears to be a form of metaphysical injury, or perhaps some bizarre political injury? Sedky again:
“Imperiling democracy”? Given the laughable non-specificity of what the hell it even means to “imperil democracy,” it shouldn’t take too much imagination to envision how widely this new “injury” criteria could be applied — as dictated by the whims of whatever prosecutor wants to appoint themselves a noble Democracy Defender. Do leftists, who’ve been almost entirely silent about the extremely foreboding implications of the Jan. 6 prosecutions, really not understand how easily the same logic could be marshalled against their own activist comrades?

The Evidence Is In: The Covid “Pandemic” Is Not Real But the Vaccine Pandemic Is

Guest Post by Paul Craig Roberts

Every Word of the Official Covid Narrative Is a Lie.  There is a vast amount of hard empirical evidence disproving the orchestrated narrative, but the presstitute scum censors it instead of reporting it.

Covid deaths are associated with co-morbidities, impaired immune systems, and deficiency of Vitamin D and Zinc. There have been known safe cures for the virus since the beginning, and the cures were blocked from use in order to have a market for the vaccines.

The question is: What interest is served by this mass deception of humanity?  Is it only the profit interest of Big Pharma and the power interest of government?  Or is a darker agenda afoot?

The Medical Evidence and Scientific Facts Do Not Support the Official Narrative

“We must expect that the vaccines will increase rather than decrease lethality of COVID-19.” — Doctors for COVID-19 Ethics

“The risk-benefit calculus is therefore clear, the experimental vaccines are needless, ineffective and dangerous.  Urging vaccination to ‘protect others’ therefore has no basis in fact.” — Doctors for COVID-19 Ethics

“Actors authorizing, coercing or administering experimental COVID-19 vaccination are exposing populations and patients to serious, unnecessary, and unjustified medical risks.” — Doctors for COVID-19 Ethics

Indian Doctors for Truth Demand that the overzealous universal vaccination drive against COVID-19 be stopped.  The risks of the vaccine exceed the benefits.

UK Medical Group Calls for “an immediate and urgent audit of deaths that have occurred since the beginning of the Covid-19 vaccine rollout”

The UK Medical Freedom Alliance Warned on November 2020 about the high risks of injecting people with an untested experimental technology.  The astonishingly high rate of injuries and deaths associated with the inoculations has caused the medical organization to call for “an immediate and urgent audit of deaths that have occurred since the beginning of the Covid-19 vaccine rollout, to ascertain if Covid-19 vaccines (in general or any one brand in particular) are leading to an increased number of deaths (Covid-19 and non-Covid-19 related).”

Vaccination campaigns are followed by dramatic rises in mortality

“Since this period, vaccination campaigns have spread worldwide even to countries where covid was not present. And everywhere they have been followed by a dramatic rise in new infections and mortality for several weeks or months.”  — Dr. Gerard Delepine— The detailed evidence is provided here:

Video: How COVID Vaccines Can Cause Blood Clots and Death by Dr. Sucharit Bhakdi

Doctors for COVID Ethics have been warning about the potential for gene-based COVID-19 “vaccines” to cause blood clots, cerebral vein thrombosis and sudden death.

SARS-CoV-2 spike protein binds to the ACE2 receptor on platelets. The subsequent activation of the platelets can lead to disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), i.e., a pathological overstimulation of your coagulation system resulting in abnormal blood clotting, thrombocytopenia (low platelet count) and hemorrhaging.

Research shows deaths are 14.6 times more frequent during the first 14 days after the first COVID injection among people over the age of 60, compared to those who aren’t vaccinated. Other data also show that after COVID-19 vaccines were implemented, overall death rates have, with few exceptions, increased.

A key problem with all of these gene-based COVID-19 vaccines is that the spike protein itself appears toxic, and your body is now a spike protein-producing factory

Its inherent toxicity may be due to it being a prion protein. If so, we can expect these injections to cause all manner of prion diseases, such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Lou Gehrig’s disease (ALS).

“We are Human Guinea Pigs”: Alarming Casualty Rates for mRNA Vaccines Warrant Urgent Action

Can the truth get out?

In Israel most of the population has had the Covid shots. Mysteriously, there is a large outbreak of new Covid cases among the inoculated. With the assurances from the CDC and the rest of the Western World’s public health bureaucracies that the inoculations are 100% effective even for the Delta variant how can this be? Here for example is the director of the CDC, “If you are fully vaccinated you are protected against severe COVID, hospitalization and death, and are even protected against the known variants, including the delta variant, circulating in this country.”

The most likely explanation is that the new cases are the results of inoculations. The vaccines inject into the body the spike protein which is toxic. It causes Covid symptoms and more serious life-threatening illnesses.

Is there really a Delta variant or is it the cover story for the illnesses caused by the vaccines?

Federal Court Rules CDC's COVID-19 Eviction Moratorium Is Unlawful

Federal Court Rules CDC's COVID-19 Eviction Moratorium Is Unlawful

By Jack Phillips of Epoch Times

A federal court on Friday ruled that the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) overstepped its authority by halting evictions during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Cincinnati-based U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals unanimously agreed (pdf) with a lower court ruling that said the CDC engaged in federal overreach with the eviction moratorium, which the agency has consistently extended for months. Several weeks ago, the CDC announced it would allow the policy, which was passed into law by Congress, to expire at the end of July.

Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), testifies during a Senate hearing in Washington, on July 20, 2021. (Stefani Reynolds-Pool/Getty Images)

“It is not our job as judges to make legislative rules that favor one side or another,” the judges wrote. “But nor should it be the job of bureaucrats embedded in the executive branch. While landlords and tenants likely disagree on much, there is one thing both deserve: for their problems to be resolved by their elected representatives.”

The ruling upheld one handed down by U.S. District Judge Mark Norris, who in March blocked enforcement of the moratorium throughout western Tennessee.

Under the moratorium, tenants who have lost income during the pandemic can declare under penalty of perjury that they’ve made their best effort to pay rent on time. The CDC claimed the measure was necessary to prevent people from having to enter overcrowded conditions if they were evicted, which would, according to the agency, impact public health.

Previously, the CDC’s lawyers argued in court filings that Congress authorized the eviction freeze as part of its COVID-19 relief legislation, while simultaneously asserting that the moratorium was within its authority. Those arguments were rejected by the three-panel appeals court on Friday.

“What’s the difference between executive-branch experts and congressional ones? Executive-branch experts make regulations; congressional experts make recommendations,” the appeals court wrote. “Congressional bureaucracy leaves the law-making power with the people’s representatives—right where the Founders put it.”

But last month, the Supreme Court in a 5-4 decision rejected a different plea by landlords to end the ban on evictions.

Justice Brett Kavanaugh had written in an opinion (pdf) that while he believes that the CDC had exceeded its authority by implementing the moratorium, he voted against ending it because the policy is set to expire July 31.

“Those few weeks,” he wrote, “will allow for additional and more orderly distribution” of the funds that Congress has appropriated to provide rental assistance to those in need because of the pandemic.

The CDC moratorium has faced pushback from property owners as well as the National Association of Realtors.

“Landlords have been losing over $13 billion every month under the moratorium, and the total effect of the CDC’s overreach may reach up to $200 billion if it remains in effect for a year,” said the organization in an emergency petition to the Supreme Court.

It’s not clear if the CDC’s attorneys will appeal the ruling. The Epoch Times has requested a comment from the agency.

State confirms nearly 5,200 get COVID – after vaccine: 80 dead

Officials in Massachusetts have confirmed that nearly 5,200 people have come down with COVID after being vaccinated – and so far 80 of those victims are dead.

NBC Boston reported the state Department of Public Health reported on the case numbers as the Delta variant makes inroads into the state.

The broadcaster said those "breakthrough" cases, "where fully vaccinated individuals test positive for coronavirus" have been "rare" so far.

"As of July 17, a total of 5,166 breakthrough cases had been reported to the state DPH. Of those, 272 people were hospitalized and survived. Of the 80 people who died, 23 died without being hospitalized; 57 died following a hospital stay," the report revealed.

It continued to advocate for vaccinations, reporting, "Health officials insist vaccine confidence should not be shaken, and say these numbers should be put into perspective."

"Tufts Medical Center epidemiologist Dr. Shira Doron says since people have started rolling up their sleeves for COVID vaccines, the Boston hospital has only seen two patients hospitalized for COVID-19 in those who were fully vaccinated. Neither died," the report explained.

"What hasn't changed is that the vaccine is preventing severe disease and death," Doron told the broadcaster.

Michael Curry, of the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers, said, "We need businesses to urge people to get vaccinated. I think businesses have to make a judgement call and decide where necessary to have a mask on when people come in. I know we're not in a state of emergency where we once were, but we may need to get back to those strategies. Quite frankly, it saves lives."

The Western Journal had reported only a month ago that the Massachusetts number of breakthrough cases at that time was 4,000.

At the time, the report said, "The development -- and others -- raises further suspicions surrounding the fledgling vaccines, including the most important: If you can still contract COVID-19, why get vaccinated?"

"We’re learning that many of the breakthrough infections are asymptomatic or they’re very mild and brief in duration," Davidson Hamer, an infectious diseases specialist at Boston University, told The Boston Herald at the time.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said then that the vaccines are expected to prevent "most" people from getting COVID.

"Vaccine breakthrough cases are expected. COVID-19 vaccines are effective and are a critical tool to bring the pandemic under control. However, no vaccines are 100% effective at preventing illness in vaccinated people," the CDC said.

All of the vaccines that have been in use in America are considered experimental.

Eric Clapton Says He Won't Play At Shows Where COVID-19 Vaccination Proof Is Required

Eric Clapton Says He Won't Play At Shows Where COVID-19 Vaccination Proof Is Required

Authored by Isabel van Brugen via The Epoch Times,

Eric Clapton said on Wednesday that he will refuse to perform at venues where proof of vaccination against COVID-19 is required, after British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the introduction of vaccine passports from September for certain events and venues.

“Following the PM’s announcement on Monday the 19th of July 2021, I feel honour bound to make an announcement of my own: I wish to say that I will not perform on any stage where there is a discriminated audience present. Unless there is provision made for all people to attend, I reserve the right to cancel the show,” the musician said in a statement shared on architect and film producer Robin Monotti Graziadei’s Telegram account.

Johnson on Monday announced that English nightclubs and venues with large crowds will require evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination upon entry from the end of September. His announcement came on England’s “freedom day,” which saw the lifting of most COVID-19 restrictions.

“If we don’t do it now we’ve got to ask ourselves, when will we ever do it?” Johnson said of ending over a year of lockdown restrictions in the country. “This is the right moment but we’ve got to do it cautiously. We’ve got to remember that this virus is sadly still out there.”

“I would remind everybody that some of life’s most important pleasures and opportunities are likely to be increasingly dependent on vaccination,” Johnson said.

“There are already countries that require you to be double jabbed as a condition of quarantine-free travel, and that list seems likely to grow. And we are also concerned—as they are in other countries—by the continuing risk posed by nightclubs.

His decision to roll out vaccine passes from the UK’s National Health Service for certain venues came after authorities in countries such as Israel and the Netherlands were forced to close nightclubs following large CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus clusters linked to their reopening.

Clapton previously said he had a “disastrous” experience with the AstraZeneca vaccine, and blamed “propaganda” for pushing the two-dose experimental vaccine on him.

“I took the first jab of AZ [AstraZeneca] and straight away had severe reactions which lasted ten days, I recovered eventually and was told it would be twelve weeks before the second one,” Clapton wrote in a statement in May.

“About six weeks later I was offered and took the second AZ shot, but with a little more knowledge of the dangers. Needless to say the reactions were disastrous, my hands and feet were either frozen, numb, or burning, and pretty much useless for two weeks, I feared I would never play again, (I suffer with peripheral neuropathy and should never have gone near the needle). But the propaganda said the vaccine was safe for everyone.”

Last month, Europe’s drug regulator, European Medicines Agency’s (EMA), identified a rare blood condition known as Vaxzevria as a potential side effect of AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine. It urged those who previously had the capillary leak syndrome against receiving the shot.

In April, the vaccine was associated with very rare and potentially lethal cases of blood clotting that come with a low platelet count.

The World Heath Organization said in March that “the benefits of the AstraZeneca vaccine outweigh its risks and recommends that vaccinations continue.”

According to Rolling Stone magazine, Clapton does not have any shows scheduled in the United Kingdom until May 2022. The musician has upcoming shows in North America this September.

"Hold Gold As Insurance" - Stockman Warns 'Reset' Means "A Crash Of Epic Proportions"

"Hold Gold As Insurance" - Stockman Warns 'Reset' Means "A Crash Of Epic Proportions"

Via Greg Hunter’s,

Reagan White House Budget Director and best-selling author David Stockman says, “This is not the time to be invested in the markets..."

"A reset is just a pleasant name or a clinical name for a crash of epic proportions, which we will have because the markets are so inflated.  There are trillions of dollars that are at risk.  To put a dimension on this thing or a way of sizing this, is we have a $60 trillion bubble on the balance sheets of 130 million people in American society, but especially in the top 5% to 10% that own a huge share of the assets...

I have no thought about how big the correction will be, but if it were just back to the norm... it would be a $60 trillion correction, and that is a pretty big hole in the bucket.

If $60 trillion disappears (out of the U.S. economy), it changes everything.  It turns the financial system and economic reality upside down.

How did things get so perilous in the economy?

Stockman says look no further than Washington D.C. and the Fed.  Stockman explains,

When central banks start to inflate like crazy, you first inflate financial assets.  It eventually works its way into goods and services, and that’s where we are now.

You get the second stage of inflation as well.  There has never been a small group of government officials, unelected at that, who have done more damage, more wanton harm to the economy and to the lives of ordinary people than (Fed Head) Powell and his merry band of mad money printers.  This is really an outrage.

I say these people are damn near criminally incompetent given what they say about the world, which is totally wrong, given what they’re doing, this massive money printing, which is totally unjustified. . .”

Stockman thinks there will be a “50% to 75% correction in the financial markets.”  Stockman contends,

“The only asset that has held its value over time is gold.”  Stockman recommends everybody should be holding some gold as insurance against the coming “reset.”

In closing, Stockman warns, “Preserve your assets..."

"This is the last moment in time to be greedy or aggressive or to be overly optimistic about the future.  The future is being driven by the policy makers ...

The whole system is being run by Washington.  The Federal Reserve totally dominates the financial markets... The Fed has printed $6.5 billion a day for the past 688 days...

They have printed more money in the last 688 days than the Fed did in the first century of its existence.”

White House Plans More Assistance For Troubled Mortgage Borrowers At Risk Of Foreclosure

White House Plans More Assistance For Troubled Mortgage Borrowers At Risk Of Foreclosure

A national foreclosure ban extended by the Biden Administration is set to expire one week from today. And in an effort to prevent a wave of foreclosures that would risk capsizing America's red-hot housing market, the Administration has devised a new program designed to offer more relief to homeowners who still can't afford their mortgage payments (typically, because their household income has yet to recover), WSJ reports.

Presently, homeowners are allowed to skip monthly payments for up to 18 months with no penalty (on the understanding they make them up later). But for borrowers who opted into the plan early in the pandemic, the relief will expire later this year (while banks will be allowed to resume foreclosures as of July 31).

That so many American borrowers need this assistance - which at best will function as a kind of band-aid, since borrowers will still need to make good on their debts - is a reminder that the torrid advance in home prices across the US might be vulnerable to a 2007-style reversal.

The Administration's planned changes aim to reduce monthly payments for borrowers by up to 25%, which is intended to align with modification options offered by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

According to mortgage-data firm Black Knight, the vast majority of 1.55MM American homeowners who are seriously delinquent (meaning they haven't made mortgage payments in 90 days) are in active forebearance. This represents nearly 3% of the 53MM active American mortgages (down from a high of 4.4% last fall).

Without the new Biden Administration program, the housing market would soon be rocked by a wave of roughly 1MM foreclosures. This could create problems for the mortgage-backed security market, one-third of which is owned by the Fed. It could also send housing prices (especially in certain foreclosure-heavy markets) into a tailspin, which in turn would place pressure on lenders and borrowers alike.

Fortunately, most of the borrowers who are still postponing their payments have federally-backed FHA loans (typically available to lower-income borrowers) which means the White House can easily intervene.

To try and legitimize this, WSJ concludes with a reference to academic "studies" showing that deferring payments and reducing interest payments by extending the term of the mortgage are effective ways of aiding troubled borrowers. But at the end of the day, many will still be left shouldering a massive debt burden that they can no longer afford.

In which case, the day of reckoning may be delayed, but it can't be avoided entirely.

A Question of Timing

Guest Post by Jeff Thomas

Economic Collapse

France, 1788.    Russia, 1916.    Germany, 1937.

These dates have something in common. In France in 1788, political conditions had been getting questionable, but there was no apparent need to panic. That came the following year, with the sudden outbreak of the French Revolution. From that point on, it was dangerous even to go out in the streets of Paris. So many people had become enraged, that even if you were not a member of the aristocracy, you could easily become collateral damage.

And so, it would have been wise if, in 1788, you had decided to pack your bags and remove yourself from the epicentre of what was developing.

Similarly, in 1916, Russia was at war with the Germans, and the populace was becoming increasingly vocal about the state of the economy. Yet, even the czar believed that the people simply had to accept the situation and muddle through.

A year later, soldiers were deserting, a host of political wannabes were vying for power and anyone who simply wanted to be left alone to run his own life was now afraid to go out on the streets.

And of course, in Germany, prior to Kristallnacht in November of 1938, all the warnings were there that the country was beginning to unravel, but virtually everyone assumed that, somehow, things would be all right.

A year later, Germany was at war with five nations and had invaded three others. People were being rounded up, imprisoned and/or shot. Those who sought to get out of Germany found that they were no longer allowed to do so.

And history is full of similar cases. In hindsight, the warning signs have always been there: an increasingly autocratic government, increasingly volatile and irrational political struggles, mounting debt, increased taxation, a declining economy and the removal of basic freedoms “for the greater good.”

In 1929, if you lived in the US, you might have just paid $2,735 for a new Packard Custom 8 Roadster – a means of showing off your recent gains in the stock market. A year later, you might well have offered it for sale for only $100, as, for all your previous price offers, there were no takers. And you, like they, had been wiped out in the crash, and $100 meant the difference between eating and not eating.

In 1958, you might have been enjoying a daiquiri at El Floridita in Havana and joking to friends about ‘las barbudas’ – the tiny rebel force hiding in the Sierra Madre. A year later, the joking had ended and private businesses like El Floridita had been nationalized by the new government.

For millennia, the playbook has been the same. Countries that had been wonderful to live in, began to deteriorate from within, and the great majority of residents had failed to read the tea leaves – the warning signs that, in the future, conditions were not going to get better; they were going to get worse.

But why should this be so?

Well, in 1787, in the midst of the Scottish Enlightenment that gave rise to Adam Smith, economist and historian Alexander Tytler is credited as having said:

A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.

He further noted that the latter stages of any such decline are marked, first, by complacency, then by apathy. The final stage is invariably one of bondage.

In some cases of collapse, the country is taken over by an outside force, but invariably, as stated above, the rot always starts from within. It’s simply human nature for the majority of any population, when passing through challenging times, to fall prey to promises that, somehow, a change in the form of government can and will result in the elimination of problematic conditions.

But how do those who make such claims sell their ideas? Do they suggest that everyone should work harder and practice a greater level of abnegation?

Well, no. Although such people may exist and may even become outspoken, they are, historically, never the individuals whom the majority of the population follow. Invariably, the majority (having become complacent and pathetic), choose those who promise to take from one group and share the spoils amongst those who are less productive.

As illogical as this promise is, most people, even if they doubt the reality of the claim, tend to think, “Well, it couldn’t be any worse. I might get something, so let’s give it a try.”

A very simple case in point is the Bahamas election of 1967, in which Bahamians elected their first ‘man of the people’ as their premier. Under his rhetoric of ‘Bahamas for Bahamians,’ he promised the large underclass of Bahamians that he would take the top jobs away from the British bankers and other business leaders and that the spoils would go to the average Bahamian.

Of particular interest were the luxury vehicles driven by successful businessmen. Bahamians in their thousands imagined that the senior staff in banks would be fired, that they themselves would be given the jobs… and the fancy Jaguar Saloons.

And that did happen to some extent. Those who were loyal to Prime Minister Lynden Pindling did move up to management positions overnight – positions for which they were not qualified. Not surprisingly, they were unable to learn decades of knowledge overnight. They subsequently either lost their new jobs, or the banks lost business on a massive scale.

And the Jaguars? Well, it turned out that there were thousands of Bahamians for every Jaguar that existed, and for 99.9%, there would be no previously imagined spoils.

Instead, their lives soon headed south in the coming months and years, as wealth flowed away from the Bahamas, most of it never to return.

In other countries the details have often been quite a bit more complex, but the scenario and the outcome have been the same.

Once the warning signs begin to appear, it’s important to remember that, historically, the process never reverses itself. An apathetic population is not one that will suddenly decide to roll up its sleeves and get the country, once again, on a productive footing.

Invariably, the population jumps on the toboggan of empty promises and rides it downhill until it reaches the economic bottom.

And so, circumventing such a situation becomes a question of timing. When it becomes clear that the telltale signs are reappearing once again, those who are wise will acknowledge that the sands are running out and it’s time to move on.

The signs tend to be the same in any locale, in any era. They’re quite easy to see. The difficult part is choosing to make an exit whilst it’s still easy to do so.

Editor’s Note: Unfortunately, there’s little any individual can practically do to change the trajectory of broke governments in need of more cash. There are still steps you can take to ensure you survive the turmoil with your money intact.

Twitter shut me down for sharing a historical fact. Really

On Tuesday morning, when I went to use my Twitter account, I was greeted by a different screen than normal. It contained one single tweet of mine, beneath which was a large red button labeled "Remove." I had violated Twitter guidelines, because of which I was blocked from using my account. The two options were to remove the offending tweet or to appeal. I chose to appeal.

To give the relevant background, over the weekend, I had posted a comment on both Twitter and Facebook, saying, "To those who are outraged over the fact that many Americans still choose not to be vaccinated, do you honestly believe that if those people were convinced the vaccines were perfectly safe in the long term and would save lives that most of them would not be vaccinated immediately?" (This is the Facebook link; I would give you the Twitter link except that, well, I can't, since I'm blocked from accessing my account.)

I had first posted the comment on Twitter, where it generated a lively discussion, after which my wife, Nancy, said to me, "You should post it on Facebook and see what happens."

She suggested this because she has noticed how Facebook has largely strangled the distribution of my articles and posts on cultural and political topics, to the point that we've seen a reduction of as much as 90% (if not more at times).

What would happen, she wondered, if I posted this same comment on Facebook?

To our pleasant surprise, the post generated about 1,400 likes and 1,200 comments and, to this moment, it has not been removed. (Of course, the ubiquitous Facebook public service announcement is attached to the post: "Visit the COVID-19 Information Center for vaccine resources. Get Vaccine Info.")

I also made my own public position clear on Facebook: "For the record, I have encouraged everyone to do the research and make informed decisions for themselves. I have not advocated a particular position for others to take."

Back over at Twitter, a pastor with the last name Mather, making him a distant descendant of the early American Christian leader Cotton Mather (1663-1728), responded to my tweet. He pointed out that Cotton Mather believed in the integration of science and faith, getting vaccinated himself. (I would supply the direct quote with a link to the tweet except that, well, I can't, since I can't access my account.)

In response I tweeted, "@jjmather Interestingly, Jonathan Edwards died in 1758 as a result of the smallpox vaccine he received."

That was it. Nothing about COVID (obviously). Nothing about vaccines today. No misinformation. No conspiracy theories. Nothing in violation of Twitter guidelines at all. Not a word.

I simply related an interesting and relevant historical fact in response to the comment about Cotton Mather. (To be specific, Edwards died of a small pox inoculation rather than vaccine. As explained on the Historical Horizons website, "Edwards embraced the new science of his day, especially new techniques being used to combat diseases. When small pox swept into Princeton, New Jersey during the winter of 1757-58, Edwards, the local college's newly minted president, got a shot from a reputable doctor. Thirty-seven days later Jonathan Edwards was dead from the shot." And, "Actually it was not a shot. The accepted procedure involved rubbing matter removed from a pustule into a small incision made between the thumb and index finger.")

What, then, was my crime?

Clicking on the link provided by Twitter, I was directed to a page explaining that, among many other potential violations, posting misleading information about COVID-19 was a violation of Twitter policy. When I clicked on the link supplying more detailed information, I was brought to this page, stating, "As the global community faces the COVID-19 pandemic together, Twitter is helping people find reliable information, connect with others, and follow what's happening in real time."

There, under the heading, "Protecting the public conversation," the following nine bulleted items were listed:

  • Clarifying how we assess misleading information
  • Updating our approach to misleading information
  • Broadening our guidance on unverified claims
  • Our ads policy for COVID-19
  • Broadening our definition of "harm"
  • An update on our content moderation work
  • Automated technology and what to expect if you file a report
  • Additional triage, quality assurance, and ongoing review of Twitter's rules
  • Our zero-tolerance approach to platform manipulation

Can anyone tell me how posting a factual comment about the death of Jonathan Edwards in 1758 is in violation of any of these terms? Would any rational human being assume that I was saying, "I'm warning you not to get the COVID vaccine in 2021 seeing that Edwards died 263 years ago from a failed vaccination attempt"? (Does anyone think that medicine and technology have not advanced dramatically since 1758?)

But today, it appears that even posting historical facts that are deemed inconvenient is a challenge to Big Tech's iron grip.

Perhaps the cause of Edwards' death will now be scrubbed from our history books too. (The History Extra website ran an April 2020 article titled, "Rewriting the past: the history that inspired Orwell's '1984.'")

Because I only have 42,800 Twitter followers, it was not urgent that I was able to access my account again. And so, for sake of principle (and as a teachable moment), I chose to appeal the ruling. (As I write, about 12 hours later, there has been no response from Twitter, other than to acknowledge my appeal.)

That being said, because the tweet in itself was not vitally important to me, should Twitter drag its feet in responding, I'll likely remove the tweet and reactivate my account. For me, this tweet is not a hill worth dying on.

But unless Twitter fails to apologize to me in writing, saying that this was an error on their account, we now have yet another example of the degree to which dangerous lines are being crossed.

Not only are dissenting opinions not welcome. Inconvenient historical facts are banned as well.

To quote Orwell's "1984," "Who controls the past controls the future: who controls the present controls the past."

U.S. Surgeon General, Rockefeller Foundation Announce Big Initiatives to Address ‘Urgent Threat’ of Vaccine Misinformation

Via Children’s Health Defense

The U.S. surgeon general on Thursday issued an advisory calling on tech companies to crack down on what the office called vaccine “misinformation.” The same day, The Rockefeller Foundation announced $13.5 million in new funding to combat vaccine “misinformation and disinformation.”

“'We can meaningfully improve the health information environment even without a consensus definition of misinformation.'

U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy on Thursday issued an advisory warning the American public about the “urgent threat” of health misinformation and disinformation that have “threatened the U.S. response to COVID-19 and continue to prevent Americans from getting vaccinated, prolonging the pandemic and putting lives at risk.”

The 22-page advisory calls on Big Tech and social media companies to take more responsibility to stop the online spread of health misinformation.

The advisory blamed “misinformation” for causing people to decline COVID vaccines, reject public health measures such as masking and physical distancing and using unproven treatments.

Murthy, who operates under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), said in a press release, “As Surgeon General, my job is to help people stay safe and healthy, and without limiting the spread of health misinformation, American lives are at risk.”

According to the HHS press release, whether “health misinformation” is false, inaccurate or misleading will be determined by the “best available evidence.”

The advisory further defined the “best available evidence” standard as the preferred benchmark because “claims can be highly misleading and harmful even if the science on an issue isn’t yet settled.”

“We can meaningfully improve the health information environment even without a consensus definition of misinformation,” Murthy said.

The full advisory lays out recommendations for families, health professionals, researchers, educators, media, funders, government and technology platforms, and urges individuals to take responsibility to limit the spread of misinformation.

The advisory calls for media and social media companies to increase staff to moderate posts, amplify preferred voices, improve algorithms to address misinformation, moderate live streams and impose “clear consequences for accounts that repeatedly violate platform policies.”

Schools and educational institutions are encouraged to crack down on misinformation by educating people on “tactics used by those who deny scientific consensus on health issues” and “introduce conspiracies.”

In an interview with NPR, Murthy said Americans must do their part to fight misinformation. “COVID has really brought into sharp focus the full extent of damage that health misinformation is doing,” Murthy said ahead of the advisory’s release.

Surgeon general’s advisories are reserved for significant public health challenges that demand immediate attention.

In a White House press briefing Thursday, press secretary Jen Psaki singled out Facebook as needing to do more to combat COVID vaccine misinformation on its platform.

“Facebook needs to move more quickly to remove violative posts,” Psaki said. “Posts that will be within their policies’ removal often remain up for days. That’s too long. The information spreads too quickly,” she said.

A CNN source said Biden officials took concerns about vaccine misinformation to Facebook and concluded the tech giant was either not “taking this very seriously, or they are hiding something” due to what they view as Facebook’s unwillingness to tackle vaccine misinformation.

The source pointed to how Robert F. Kennedy Jr., co-founder and chair of Children’s Health Defense, was banned from Instagram, which is owned by Facebook, but not from Facebook itself.

The Facebook spokesperson told CNN, “We don’t automatically disable accounts across our apps, because the accounts may post about different things on our different services.”

In an interview today with The Defender, Kennedy said:

“I’m very happy to debate the Surgeon General or to line my stacks up against his and allow the public to judge which one of us is the source of misinformation — is the font of all the vaccine misinformation, disinformation and obfuscation. I would also remind the Surgeon General that censorship by the government is not just un-American, it’s unconstitutional, and he should have the confidence in his policies in the marketplace of ideas and not have to rely on coercion.”

Kennedy said it’s not up to the government or CNN to decide. He said:

“It’s a dangerous path for democracy when we allow government officials and CNN, which is utterly dependent on pharmaceutical advertising, to tell Americans they are not allowed to criticize pharmaceutical products — zero liability, experimental pharmaceutical products.”

Psaki called for Facebook to make more information public about who, and how many people are seeing and interacting with what the administration labels “misinformation” about COVID.

The CNN source said administration officials were frustrated with what they view as Facebook’s failures to uphold its own policies on vaccine misinformation — the company often does not act fast enough or is inconsistent in its policing of violating content, the officials complain.

Rockefeller Foundation commits $13.5 million to misinformation campaign

On the same day the surgeon general issued his advisory, The Rockefeller Foundation issued a press release announcing $13.5 million in new funding to, among other things, “counter health mis- and disinformation — confusing, inaccurate, and harmful information that spreads at an unprecedented speed and scale and threatens the health and wellbeing of communities around the world.”

The Foundation cited the surgeon general’s call for a “whole-of-society effort” so that people around the world know what to do and can trust the sources they hear from during a public health emergency, such as the COVID pandemic.

“By identifying mis- and disinformation as a challenge to our collective health, the surgeon general’s guidance reinforces The Rockefeller Foundation’s role in investing in data-driven public health interventions to meet the unique challenges of today’s media environment,” said Bruce Gellin, the foundation’s chief of global public health strategy.

The foundation said the funding will “support the design and evaluation of interventions, tools and methods to build trust in COVID vaccination efforts and counter inaccurate information and research to understand how inaccurate health information impacts online and offline behaviors, the true cost of mis- and disinformation on health and economic outcomes and what strategies might be most effective to counter and manage inaccurate and harmful information from malicious sources.”

Detailed information is slated to be released by the end of 2021, the foundation said.

Top epidemiologist: CDC undercounting vaccinated COVID cases

President Joe Biden, joined by Vice President Kamala Harris, after delivering remarks on the CDC's updated guidance on mask wearing for vaccinated individuals Thursday, May 13, 2021, in the Rose Garden of the White House. (Official White House photo by Adam Schultz)

The CDC contends that only a small percentage of people in the United States who have been vaccinated will get COVID-19 -- called "breakthrough cases" -- but a leading epidemiologist argues that's because the agency stopped counting the breakthrough cases of people who didn't die or were not hospitalized.

"Some months ago the CDC stopped counting breakthrough cases ... the large numbers of cases in people who had been vaccinated," said Dr. Harvey Risch of the Yale School of Medicine in an interview Monday with Fox News' Laura Ingraham.

"So, of course, those cases don’t register for the CDC’s counts, and so the great proportion [of cases] that they’re claiming are in unvaccinated people," Risch said.

"And that fallacy is why the U.S. and the CDC’s count is different from than Israel or the UK. It’s a fallacy.”

On Tuesday, Britain's chief scientific adviser said 40% of people who have been hospitalized with COVID-19 were fully vaccinated.

Sir Patrick Vallance told a news briefing that the figure was not surprising "because the vaccines are not 100% effective," Britain's Sky News reported.

Meanwhile, Israel's health ministry found that about 40% of the new cases of COVID-19 detected since May were vaccinated patients, Israel National News reported. In contrast, less than 1% of the new cases were people who had been previously infected.

Ingraham said the Biden administration is "losing control of its COVID narrative."

Along with the U.K. data she pointed to the fact that five members of the Texas legislature who were fully vaccinated tested positive for the virus after they "fled to D.C." during their "voting rights stunt."

"So why isn't the Biden administration addressing this?"

See the interview:

In June, contradicting the claims of Dr. Anthony Fauci and the FDA, a study by the prestigious Cleveland Clinic demonstrated the effectiveness of natural immunity. It concluded there is no need to vaccinate people who have been infected with the virus that causes COVID-19.

The study found individuals with previous SARS-CoV-2 infection do not get additional benefits from vaccination, reported News-Medical.Net

The finding aligned with a study published in May in Nature by researchers at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis concluding that even mild or asymptomatic cases of COVID-19 can produce lasting immunity that would guard against repeated infections.

Fauci, the White House coronavirus adviser, told Business Insider that vaccines are "better than the traditional response you get from natural infection" and everyone should get a COVID shot. And in May, the Food and Drug Administration issued an advisory saying the same.

But the Cleveland Clinic study found not a single incidence of SARS-CoV-2 infection was observed in previously infected participants with or without vaccination.

In November, several researchers told the New York Times they had found that natural immunity from COVID occured and there were indications it is long-lasting.

People infected with the closely related virus SARS-CoV-1 have been shown to be immune for at least 17 nears, according to a study published by the journal Nature.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Americans are just starting to discover that much of what they thought they knew about the COVID-19 pandemic has been a lie. At the same time, the reality of safe, effective, inexpensive and readily available medications that can both treat and prevent COVID infection – successfully used all over the world – has been ruthlessly suppressed at every turn. But the truth is finally emerging, and is explored in-depth in the latest issue of WND's acclaimed monthly Whistleblower magazine, titled "ENDING THE PANDEMIC: How vaccine mania and lust for power led to the all-out suppression of proven safe-and-effective COVID treatments." Top Health Officer Orders Australians: "Don't Have A Conversation" With Each Other

Top Health Officer Orders Australians: "Don't Have A Conversation" With Each Other

Authored by Paul Joseph Watson via Summit News,

The chief health officer of New South Wales gave a press conference telling Australians that they shouldn’t “engage in conversation with each other,” even if they’re wearing masks, in order to reduce the transmission of COVID.

Yes, really.

Dr. Kerry Chant made the remarks in response to people in NSW being ordered to comply with yet another lockdown triggered by just a handful of new cases, which included a man in Cootamundra who visited a Woolworths supermarket, Pizza Hut restaurant, petrol station and Officeworks store.

Whilst it’s human nature to engage in conversation with others, to be friendly, unfortunately this is not the time to do that,” said Chant.

So even if you run into your next door neighbor in the shopping center…don’t start up a conversation, now is the time for minimizing your interactions with others, even if you’ve got a mask, do not think that affords total protection, we wanna be absolutely sure that as we go about our daily lives we do not come into contact with anyone else that would pose a risk,” she added.

— NoRisk_NoReward (@noreward_norisk) July 20, 2021

In addition to officials telling people they shouldn’t talk to their friends and neighbors, those living in or those who visited the affected areas are now under a minimum 7 day stay-at-home order, while masks will again become mandatory masks for teachers and high school students.

Twitter users reacted to the statement by pointing out that this represents a new level in the complete inhumanity of lockdown.

“Their desperation is front and centre. They’re either running out of time or they’re going insane right in front of our eyes,” commented British pop due Right Said Fred.

As we have previously highlighted, Australia has imposed innumerable brutal lockdowns, some of the most draconian in the western world, in the disastrous pursuit of a ‘zero COVID’ policy.

Alice Springs, a town in Australia 800 miles away from the nearest city went into full lockdown last month after just a single new case of COVID-19 was detected.

As we reported earlier this month, COVID-19 lockdowns were found to have been a major contributing factor to a doubling in attempted suicides of those aged between 5-25 in Australia.
