Controlling the Past

ORIGINAL LINK

I just went to Youtube to re-watch the 1976 ’60 Minutes’ show on the swine flu of that year, and how the (all-but) mandatory flu vaccine backfired, i.e., didn’t prevent anything and killed and/or crippled thousands. I recalled that the show was a good example of actual journalism and figured a viewing would cheer me up a bit: I recalled…

COVID19 – Evidence of Global Fraud

ORIGINAL LINK

logo-med.png

COVID 19, and the subsequent governmental responses, appear to be part of an international conspiracy to commit fraud. It seems there is no evidence that a virus called SARS-CoV-2 causes a disease called COVID 19.

Sometimes you have to go with your gut. I am not an expert in genetics and, as ever, stand to be corrected. However my attention was drawn to some research published by the Spanish medical journal D-Salud-Discovery. Their advisory board of eminently qualified physicians and scientists lends further credibility to their research. Their claim is astounding.

The genetic primers and probes used in RT-PCR tests to identify SARS-CoV-2 do not target anything specific. I followed the search techniques outlined in this English translation of their report and can corroborate the accuracy of their claims about the nucleotide sequences listed in the World Health Organisations protocols. You can do the same.

D-Salud-Discovery state there are no tests capable of identifying SARS-CoV-2. Consequently, all claims about the alleged impact of COVID 19 on population health are groundless.

The entire official COVID 19 narrative is a deception. Ostensibly, there is no scientific foundation for any part of it.

If these claims are accurate we can state that there is no evidence of a pandemic, merely the illusion of one. We have suffered incalculable loss for no evident reason, other than the ambitions of unscrupulous despots who wish to transform the global economy and our society to suit their purposes.

In doing so this “parasite class” have potentially committed countless crimes. These crimes can and should be investigated and prosecuted in a court of law.

IDENTIFICATION OF WHAT EXACTLY?

The World Health Organisation (WHO) classified COVID-19 (COronaVIrus Disease 2019). They declared a global COVID 19 pandemic on March 11th 2019.

The WHO’s Laboratory testing guidance states:

The etiologic agent [causation for the disease] responsible for the cluster of pneumonia cases in Wuhan has been identified as a novel betacoronavirus, (in the same family as SARS-CoV and MERS-CoV) via next generation sequencing (NGS) from cultured virus or directly from samples received from several pneumonia patients.”

The WHO’s claim is that the SARS-CoV-2 virus causes the disease COVID-19. They also allege this virus has been clearly identified by researchers in Wuhan.

In the WHO’s Novel Coronavirus 2019-nCov Situation Report 1, they state:

The Chinese authorities identified a new type of coronavirus, which was isolated on 7 January 2020……On 12 January 2020, China shared the genetic sequence of the novel coronavirus for countries to use in developing specific diagnostic kits.”

These two statements from the WHO clearly suggest the SARS-CoV-2 virus was isolated (meaning purified for study) and then genetic sequences were identified from the isolated sample. From this, diagnostic kits were developed and distributed globally to test for the virus in towns, cities and communities around the world. According to the WHO and Chinese researchers, these tests will find the virus that causes COVID 19.

Yet the WHO also state:

Working directly from sequence information, the team developed a series of genetic amplification (PCR) assays used by laboratories.”

The Wuhan scientists developed their genetic amplification assays from “sequence information” because there was no isolated, purified sample of the so called SARS-CoV-2 virus. They also showed electron microscope images of the newly discovered virions (the spiky protein ball containing the viral RNA.)

The Rudy, Sidney, and Jenna Show: A Blistering Press Conference for the Ages

ORIGINAL LINK

logo-med.png

Yesterday, I took Trump attorney, Sidney Powell, to task for her lack of court-case filings.

Where’s the beef, I asked.

Because time is of the essence.

From everything I’ve studied, the amount of vote-fraud is titanic. Court cases are obviously necessary.

I want to read Sidney’s filings. I want to see the progress of cases through the courts.

But after the monster press conference yesterday, during which Rudy Giuliani, Sidney, and surprise star Jenna Ellis spoke, I believe I understand what’s really going on here. Ultimately, it has nothing to do with Sidney. I’ll speak to that in a minute.

First, the press conference was a hell of an event. Rudy broke through and hit home runs out of the park. Sidney made a stalwart presentation. Jenna Ellis, legal advisor to Trump, served up MAJOR high heat to the gathered press.

She hammered on the distinction between an opening presentation (the press conference) and a court trial, in which evidence is presented in detail.

She told the press they wouldn’t even accurately report this very press conference the next day. Her tone was iron conviction heated in a forge.

You don’t learn that in school or in a courtroom. It comes from someplace else.

Rudy took the reporters to school. He told them their claims of “lack of evidence” for fraud were ridiculous. Affidavits are evidence. He waved a list of sworn statements at them, from on-site witnesses, which asserted:

Fake ballots. Back-dated ballots. Unobserved ballots. Unsigned ballots. Mountains of them. From multiple states.

Sidney spoke about Dominion Voting Systems, Smartmatic, and their Swiss Cheese software with back doors. The easy opportunities for hacking into machines. The algorithm set up to flip votes from Trump to Biden.

Jenna said a prosecutor could take days to prepare a case about a single crime that was committed during the course of a few minutes. Here, the lawyers were dealing with a case that stretched out across a massive amount of space, and went back in time.

AND THAT IS THE PROBLEM.

Trump’s lawyers ARE under the gun. The moment Trump settled into the Oval Office, after the 2016 election, he should have appointed a high-IQ, loyal-to-the-death, grim reaper to prepare for this moment: his next election.

Because it was obvious the Democrats—if they couldn’t impeach him first—were going to call in all their markers to take him to the cleaners in 2020: They’d assemble foot soldiers, enforcers, journalists, bureaucrats, city-machine politicians, computer pros, straight-out thugs, agent provocateurs, every usual suspect and bribable piece of scum in every big city in every key state. All hands on deck.

But a Trump team to plan for that kind of 2020 didn’t materialize. Not soon enough. Not good enough. Not thorough enough. Not relentless enough.

And because Trump is a salesman, and a deal maker, and not a detailed planner, he didn’t button up that team and discover their deficiencies.

So, when the time came, and the 2020 election votes poured in, he wasn’t ready. Not in the way you have to be ready for this kind of war.

Therefore, the whole battlefield has to be occupied by his lawyers. Right now. For the multi-dimensional fraud case of a lifetime. With deadlines looming.

No small band of lawyers, no matter how sharp, could handle this on the fly, without breaking into a cold sweat. Especially when some of their attorney colleagues are jumping ship, because their careers are being threatened by fanatical Left Democrats from Nome to Tampa.

And every day, the bloated news network slugs calmly twiddle and twaddle about the brand spanking new president Joe and his plans and possible choices for cabinet posts, as if the sky is clear and the course is fixed, and all’s right with the world. Justice has been served. The people have spoken. The US is most certainly not a banana republic.

Right. Sure. Down in those forlorn places, troops with guns take over the radio station, which is all you need to stage a coup. Up here, our very best coiffed and powdered professional liars are ALREADY the radio station. And they call the election.

If they say Rex the shaggy dog is the next president, the nation of viewers nods and goes back to sleep.

But not this time.

The millions of Trump voters want to live in freedom, work, earn a living, raise their families with the least possible government interference. They don’t want more lockdowns, economic devastation, and unconstitutional COVID mandates from gangster governors.

The millions of Biden voters want, or will dutifully submit to, those mandates and lockdowns. They believe government can not only establish equality of opportunity for all, but can guarantee “equality of outcome” across the board. That way spells the long night of disaster.

That is why I want the Trump voters to win.

To see if that happens, there must be an honest count.

So far, we have a news-network count. That’s all.

So the lawyers go to court.

I don’t profess naïve faith in the judicial system. But it’s a road that has to be traveled.

Win or lose, this isn’t over, because the truth isn’t over. Ever.

Slavery is always waiting and percolating in government halls and offices and conference suites that make Las Vegas money-counting rooms look like church chapels.

Freedom is in homes and in the open air of adventure and striving.

That dream, that reality isn’t dead in America.

No tonnage of lockdown or fraud can kill it.

OK, Sidney, OK, Rudy, you shouldn’t have to carry all this freight, but you’re in the slot. The Department of Justice should be all over the case with warrants blazing. Unfortunately, we’re not in a pre-packaged movie about Eliot Ness taking down Al Capone.

This is you, and the election system of America. The decades of cash-and-carry City Halls in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Detroit, and Milwaukee.

Just make sure we know where to go to read your court filings, and the evidence you can disclose in those filings. Show us every step of every case.

Stay tuned to us, we’ll stay tuned to you.

What we’re facing now is all part of the ten thousand year war for freedom.

Determination, war, blood, sacrifice: It started in clans in caves; it made a majestic layover in ancient Athens; it flashed forward to the signing of the Magna Carta and the American Constitution; it stopped to take a quick photo of a New Orleans DA who was standing outside on a rainy night with a valise full of papers exposing the assassination of a US president; it moved into another kind of struggle with zeroes and ones flashing inside technological masterpieces designed to invent reality, any reality.

It’s still the same war.

What If the Whole of Modern American History You Know Is Wrong? And What of Covid-19?

ORIGINAL LINK

logo-med.png

I know Americans young and old haven’t the time to listen to the late Professor Antony C. Sutton’s 39-minute interview that runs counter to what has been taught in school about America, the land of the free.  Modern history schoolbooks portray the U.S. as a hero country that saved millions from despots that dominated foreign lands.

So, allow me to summarize what Dr. Sutton said a few years ago: US industry was behind the re-arming of Russia – -the “cold war” was contrived; and U.S. companies financially and industrially backed Adolph Hitler’s rise to power in Germany.  America profits from both sides of wars.  Young American army soldiers were dying for what?  Understanding these facts may provide Americans a better understanding of the pre-planned COVID-19 pandemic now underway.

There are muffled voices that the COVID-19 pandemic has been pre-planned and ushered in as a contrived event to overthrow western democracies and destroy American free-enterprise, along with the right to own property, and even freedom of movement.  Believable?

The New York Times says it is all a “conspiracy theory.”  Denial of the obvious.  See the socialist manifesto on video.  It predicts America will turn to dust very soon.  Are you on board?  You are if you don’t resist.

White House coronavirus advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci now says “American vaccine skeptics pose a serious threat to public health.”  But these rushed-to-market vaccine trials are based upon a flawed polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test that causes pseudoepidemics.  Americans may be forced to vaccinate based upon a phony test.

Dr. Stan Monteith (1929-2014) used to lead off his radio broadcast by saying: “America has the best enemies money can buy?”  That coined statement was derived from late professor Antony C Sutton’s book by that same title.  Think Antifa and BLM.

U.S. security agencies like the FBI and National Security Administration certainly have the intelligence to know the license plate numbers of all the members of Antifa and BLM.  What havoc these groups produce is being allowed by American authorities and aired by the complicit news media, a propaganda agent in this whole deception.

Can Americans be bought off?

Can Americans be bought off by false promises of socialists?  You bet!  Was there even one American restaurant worker who refused to accept the free money handed out by government?  Being paid more than what they could make as waiters and waitresses, these workers were being given an incentive to NOT go back to work and thus betray their employers.  Not one restaurant worker saw through this.

Inquisitive know-it-all young Americans, growing up with electronic access to more knowledge than their forefathers, wouldn’t know where to look to investigate the veracity of Dr. Monteith’s statement.  So, I will lead readers to the trough of truth.

But it is said: “You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink.”  You may be an American by birth, but you aren’t a real American until you stand up to those who would take away your freedoms.  What one fights for is different than what one inherits.

Bravery of a few in the midst of betrayers

Let’s not forget that many colonists dined with the British while George Washington was running from one campfire to next to escape the British.  Not every American will buy into the fight, but they will certainly all benefit afterwards.

It was Gideon of Old Testament fame, overwhelmingly outnumbered, was instructed by God to find “just a few brave men” to repel an opposing army.  Following instructions, Gideon’s small army operated by stealth of night to trick the enemy to fight among themselves.

When we see Americans fighting among themselves, we can smell the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) that has overthrown many foreign governments in the same manner.  Wouldn’t the CIA know best how to overthrow American government?  Americans are battling among themselves, using voting machines the very CIA has used to stage takeovers of foreign regimes.

What Antony C. Sutton revealed

Dr. Stan Monteith had occasion to interview British-American economist, historian and author Antony C. Sutton (1925-2002).

What Sutton reported:

  • American industry and banking financed Adolph Hitler
  • America’s background in the financing of communism in the Soviet Union
  • Without this U.S. aid, there would be no significant Soviet military threat.

Definition

Fascism is defined as when industry owns government (the current situation).

Communism is defined as a political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs.

Currently there are over 22 billion-dollar U.S. companies backing BLM.  American fascism?

Exposed in Sutton’s interview

Professor Sutton pointed out in his interview:

  • In 1972 the U.S. was in Vietnam and we were supplying the Soviets who were in turn supplying the North Vietnamese with trucks.
  • In 1933 U.S. industry and banking funded Hitler’s rise to power, which includes General Electric, Osram, Ford Motor, Standard Oil, the latter supplied tetraethyl to raise the octane level of gasoline essential for Germany’s aviation.
  • American corporations used subsidiaries to transfer technology, materials, before the Germans could manufacture these themselves. Germany did not have access to natural oil resources and used synthetics from coal, which came from the U.S.   G. Farben, a German company, obtained from Standard Oil technology to make explosives.
  • S. saturation bombing targeted German industrial and electrical plants, but the U.S.-owned plants were not bombed.

Why no opposition?

Why aren’t American institutions opposing the takeover of the U.S. by socialists, operating under the banner of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Europe, to overthrow the American free enterprise/competition way of life?  Why do American bankers go along with the WEFs agenda, which is to control the U.S. population via the elimination of paper money and coerced digital money that will be used to control Americans; that will eliminate private property and private ownership of any business?

It was the comic book POGO who said: “We have met the enemy and he is us.”

Without this realization, Americans remain naïve and deceived.

Young Americans wouldn’t know fascism if they say it

Professor Sutton wrote a number of books how American industry fostered socialism/Marxism throughout the world.  College-educated Americans couldn’t recognize Marxism if they saw it because they have never been taught about it.  Only those Americans who immigrated from Europe and South America who lived under such regimes that suddenly came to power recognize the fascism and Marxism that are now being deceivingly used to overthrow our American way of life.

Will the future belong to the patriots or the globalists?

Dominion Voting 'Lawyers Up' Before Abruptly Backing Out Of Pennsylvania Fact-Finding Hearing

Dominion Voting 'Lawyers Up' Before Abruptly Backing Out Of Pennsylvania Fact-Finding Hearing Tyler Durden Fri, 11/20/2020 - 14:09

Authored by Debra Heine via American Greatness (emphasis ours),

Dominion Voting Systems Thursday night abruptly backed out of attending a fact-finding hearing that was set for Friday morning with the Pennsylvania House State Government Committee.

At a press conference Friday morning, State Govt Committee Chair Seth Grove said the 1.3. million Pennsylvanians who used Dominion’s voting machines have been “hung out to dry and slapped in their faces.”

Pennsylvania lawmakers had scheduled the hearing with the voting machine manufacturer “to help identify and correct any irregularities in the election process,” according to the House Republican Caucus.

It is vitally important voters have faith in the machines they use to cast their ballots. On the heels of Gov. Tom Wolf unilaterally decertifying every voting machine in the Commonwealth, we need to know whether these new machines met expectations, whether they are reliable and whether they are not subject to interference,” said Rep. Grove (R-York).

Dominion had initially agreed to attend the hearing, before it “abruptly canceled,”  Grove said.

I was impressed at what appeared to be the willingness that Dominion Voting Systems to address accusations and it would have put 1.3. million Pennsylvanians who used their machines at ease—including myself, thinking that Dominion was willing to publicly back up their product which PA taxpayers invested millions to purchase” he noted during the presser.

Unfortunately, last evening, Dominion Voting Systems lawyered up, and backed out of their commitment to the people of Pennsylvania to provide their input in a public format.”

Grove blasted the company for “retreating into the darkness,” rather than appearing at the hearing with “honesty and integrity.”

The committee chair said he wanted to know why a company with nothing to hide would back out.

“Why would a vender of public goods fear discussing their product sold to the public for the public good? If Dominion’s products were successful and operated as they were supposed to, why wouldn’t Dominion take the opportunity to publicly review its success?” Grove demanded. “How hard is it to say, ‘our ballot machines worked exactly as promised and they’re 100 percent accurate’?”

“After weeks of accusations, why has Dominion Voting Systems not released any analysis of the success of its voting machines to the public in order to stop their accusers in their tracks? If they have nothing to hide, why are they hiding from us?” he asked.

Today I am saddened to report to the taxpayers of Pennsylvania and the 1.3 million voters who trusted Dominion Voting Systems with their ballots, that Dominion Voting Systems has hung you out to dry and slapped you in your faces.” the committee chair declared.

Grove stated that Dominion’s behavior lent credibility to their accusers’ accusations.

Rep. Dawn Keefer noted that fourteen counties used the Dominion Voting Systems software, so they owe it to Pennsylvania voters to show up and answer some questions.

“We trust the workers in our polling places and in our counties,” Keefer said. “But what we don’t know is the role of 3rd party companies. And when they rescind their participation in our hearing, we’re left wondering why.”

Keefer added: “Transparency is key for our election security. Dominion Voting Software is asking us to give them only blind trust. We’re very disappointed in Dominion’s last minute cancellation in today’s hearing.

Senate hears experts decry demonization of livesaving 'Trump drug'

ORIGINAL LINK

President Donald J. Trump, joined by Vice President Mike Pence and members of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, delivers remarks at a coronavirus (COVID-19) press briefing Friday, March 20, 2020, in the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room of the White House. (Official White House photo by Shealah Craighead)

With governors imposing a second wave of lockdowns in response to the coronavirus pandemic, physicians who decry the politicization of a drug they have found to be an effective treatment for COVID-19 testified to the Senate's Homeland Security Committee on Thursday.

The panel's chairman, Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., noted the drug hydroxychloroquine was used as a "weapon" in the presidential election after it was promoted by President Trump.

"The doctors who have had the courage to follow the Hippocratic oath and use their off-label prescription rights to treat patients using hydroxychloroquine have been scorned and state medical boards have threatened to withdraw their licenses," the senator said.

Johnson said he has publicly advocated for "allowing doctors to be doctors, to practice medicine, explore different therapies and share their knowledge within the medical community and with the public."

He said international, federal and state "closed-minded bureaucrats" have let down the public, driven by conflicting interests.

"Tragically, media and social media have failed to ask the right questions and censored what they do not understand," he said.

Noting a vaccine won't be available for months, Johnson said he hoped the hearing would help correct "a glaring blunder that has cost far too many lives."

The ranking member, Sen. Gary Peters, D-Mich., accused the Trump administration of promoting "unproven treatments, further putting Americans at risk."

However, Dr. Peter McCullough, the vice chairman of internal medicine at Baylor University Medical Center, contended the widespread use of hydroxychloroquine in March, April and May was what kept "the curve" down.

Get the free "Guide to Home-Based COVID Treatment"

Dr. Harvey Risch, a professor of epidemiology at Yale University, emphasized the drug is "exceedingly safe," having been prescribed for more than 65 years to "hundreds of millions of people" in "10s of billions of doses."

Risch said that in May, when he saw studies on hydroxychloroquine being misrepresented, he thought it simply was "sloppy reporting."

He said he was "astounded" that studies on hospitalized patients were being represented as applying to outpatients, in violation of what he was taught in medical school.

Over the past six months, he said government research institutions have invested billions of dollars in expensive inpatient treatments but almost nothing for early outpatient treatments, "the first line of response to this pandemic."

He said there are seven studies on use of hydroxychloroquine in high-risk patients, and every one has shown reductions of 50% or more in the risk of hospitalization and mortality, he said.

Risch said the FDA's withdrawal of emergency use authorization for treating COVID-19 with hydroxychloroquine should be immediately withdrawn, arguing the risk associated with the drug is much less than others the agency has approved, such as remdesivir.

He said that even if a vaccine is effective, people will still get sick and die, and effective early treatment is essential.

Risch was challenged by Dr. Ashish Jha, dean of Brown University’s School of Public Health, who insisted that every quality study of the drug's efficacy for COVID-19 has found no benefit, declaring there is a "clear consensus" on the scientific and medical community.

He pointed to a large randomized control trial published in the New England Journal of Medicine that found higher rates of death among hospitalized patients on hydroxychloroquine.

And he argued that the Food and Drug Administration withdrew its emergency use authorization for hydroxychloroquine.

"For hydroxychloroquine there was no sufficient evidence and the evidence that was there certainly did not suggest the benefits would outweigh the risks," Jha said.

But Risch reiterated his argument that many studies focused on hospitalized patients who were very sick and pointed to the studies showing its efficacy within first few days of infection.

A fourth physician who testified was Dr. George Fareed, medical director at Pioneers Health Center in the Imperial Valley in California, which was the epicenter for the virus in the state in June and July.

He said he treated successfully more than 1,000 high-risk patients with a cocktail of hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin and zinc, which was developed by Dr. Zev Zelenko, who told WND in April of his 100% success treating 350 coronavirus patients.

Fareed emphasized that healthy people, with no underlying conditions such as diabetes and heart disease, don't need treatment.

He said his experience is in line with all of the studies that Dr. Risch mentioned, with very few hospitalizations and not a single cardiac event.

'Wreckless and dangerous' testimony

Jha charged that hydroxychloroquine is actually dangerous, stating that in April there was "a 93% increase in related calls to the U.S poison control centers."

"These things can hurt," he said.

"Given the dismal failure of hydroxychloroquine to date, there is little scientific basis to think it will be effective for anybody," he said.

Johnson, noting the "huge disconnect between experts, Harvard and Yale educated," asked McCullough to respond to the poison-report issue and his own experience with being treated himself for COVID-19 with hydroxychloroquine.

"Senator, I want my testimony to be clear on the record that I think Dr. Jha's testimony is wreckless and dangerous for the nation," he said.

McCullough said the poison report is exactly what Sen. Peters is interested in.

"You're interested in misinformation regarding COVID," he said.

The widespread use of hydroxychloroquine in the spring, he said, kept the first wave of the coronavirus "from skyrocketing."

The physician said the poison control center received 77 additional calls in April. When the reviewer looked at them, two-thirds had taken an extra dose.

"So, it boiled down to 17 cases out of over 500,000 administrations, and yet Dr. Jha holds that up to the American public as a scare point, to scare the American public away from an effective therapy for COVID-19," McCullough said.

Fareed, toward the end of the hearing, said he wondered "whether Dr. Jha actually treats patients, the way he talks."

Johnson asked Jha if he wanted to respond.

Jha said he's treated patients for the Veterans Administration for 20 years.

"As a practicing physician, I think a lot about the evidence," he said. "My patients want me to give them science-based treatments."

Johnson asked: "Have you treated any COVID patient?"

"I have not, sir," Jha replied.

See the hearing:

'A political drug'

An outspoken proponent of hydroxychloroquine, Dr. Steven Smith of East Orange, New Jersey, expressed in an interview with WND in May his frustration with the politicization of hydroxychloroquine.

He noted the FDA on its website "cautions against use of hydroxychloroquine" for COVID-19 outside of the hospital setting or a clinical trial due to risk of heart rhythm problems."

But he pointed out that in the 400 clinical trials on hydroxychloroquine the FDA has approved, not one requires EKG monitoring.

"People have doubled down on the toxicity of a drug that is not toxic," he said. "They've gone around and told everybody it's killing people. It's not."

Risch, in an interview with Fox News' Laura Ingraham in July, said hydroxychloroquine is "a political drug now, not a medical drug."

He said establishment media and politicians are "basically fighting a propaganda war against the medical facts" that is shaping not only how the population views the drug, but doctors as well."

Risch said he's received "hostile remarks" from doctors who say that "all the evidence is bad for it."

"And in fact, that's not true at all. And it's easy to show that the evidence – all the evidence is actually good for it when it's used in outpatient uses," he said. "Nevertheless, the only people who actually see that are a whole pile of doctors who are actually on the frontlines treating those patients across the country. And they are the ones who are at risk of being forced not to do it."

In a guest column for Newsweek, Risch, who has authored more than 300 peer-reviewed publications and currently hold senior positions on the editorial boards of several leading journals, argued hydroxychloroquine is the key to containing the virus.

In May, he published an article in the the world's leading epidemiology journal, the American Journal of Epidemiology, that analyzed five studies "demonstrating clear-cut and significant benefits" to treating patients with hydroxychloroquine along with other very large studies that demonstrated its safety.

"Physicians who have been using these medications in the face of widespread skepticism have been truly heroic," he wrote in the Newsweek column. "They have done what the science shows is best for their patients, often at great personal risk. I myself know of two doctors who have saved the lives of hundreds of patients with these medications, but are now fighting state medical boards to save their licenses and reputations. The cases against them are completely without scientific merit."

Smith, who briefed President Trump in April on the safety and effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine, pointed out the World Health Organization temporarily halted studying hydroxychloroquine in response to a widely reported observational study published in the medical journal The Lancet that concluded seriously ill COVID-19 patients who were treated with hydroxychloroquine were more likely to die.

But in an embarrassing turn, the premiere journal was forced to withdraw the study after three of the four authors issued an apology, citing concerns about the quality and veracity of the data.

The Lancet study's fatal flaws were immediately apparent to Smith when the study was released in May. Dr. Marc Siegel, associate professor of medicine at the New York University Langone Medical Center, called The Lancet study a "political hit job."

Sidney Powell Says Trump Team Will Sue Officials "To Invalidate" Election Results... And An Inside Look Into Smartmatic

Sidney Powell Says Trump Team Will Sue Officials "To Invalidate" Election Results... And An Inside Look Into Smartmatic Tyler Durden Thu, 11/19/2020 - 22:01

Shortly before the Associated Press announced late on Thursday that Joe Biden had won the state of Georgia after its secretary of state said that Biden had remained ahead after a hand recount of the state’s 5 million presidential votes making him the first Democratic presidential candidate in 28 years to win the state pending any potential litigation by Trump, the president's attorney Sidney Powell warned that a "flurry of lawsuits" await election officials who certify the results of the election which she believes are fraudulent.

The former federal prosecutor, who is also Michael Flynn's lead attorney in a case about lying to the FBI, told Fox Business host Lou Dobbs on Thursday that the Trump camp will press forward with legal action, targeting election officials as they certify the 2020 results in several key battleground states that have been called for President-elect Joe Biden. One of them would be Georgia's Republican Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger, who must certify the results by Friday.

Dobbs also asked if Trump's llegal team will pursue legal action against Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic: "Are you pressing forward with legal action against them for those violations?" Dobbs asked.

"Not against the company and the software," Powell responded. "But the suits will be against the election officials to invalidate the results of the election and force it to the legislatures and the Electoral College and then the Congress if necessary."

As we reported earlier, Powell asserted that Dominion and Smartmatic are "inexplicably intertwined." She appeared with former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and other members of Trump's election legal team at a press conference in Washington, D.C., to accuse Democrats of an elaborate plot by his opponents to "rig" voting machines in the presidential.

During that conference, Giulianni said that he "can prove that [Trump] won Pennsylvania by 150,000 votes" and that "the people who did this have committed one of the worst crimes that I've ever seen or heard." The former NYC mayor also said there is a pattern in the voting data that suggests "a plan from a centralized place” to commit voter fraud in Democrat-run cities.

At the same time, Powell said President Trump “won by a landslide," and that their legal team will prove it.

"American patriots are fed up with the corruption from the local level to the highest level of our government," she said. "We are not going to be intimidated. We are not going to back down. We are going to clean this mess up now. President Trump won by a landslide. We are going to prove it. And we are going to reclaim the United States of America for the people who vote for freedom."

Powell alleged a transnational conspiracy involving the “influence of communist money” from countries including Cuba, Venezuela, and “likely China” to overturn the presidential race via election software.

Powell also said that the legal team has testimony from an insider who unearthed provable fraud regarding voting machines and software used in multiple states. The person said they worked with the Venezuelan military, outlining a conspiracy between Smartmatic executives, former socialist Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez, and election officials in the country years ago.

The whistleblower said the “software and fundamental design of the electronic electoral system and software of Dominion and other election tabulating companies relies upon software that is a descendant of the Smartmatic Electoral Management System.”

"In short, the Smartmatic software is in the DNA of every vote-tabulating company’s software and system,” the whistleblower said.

Powell alleged that Smartmatic, Dominion, and others used technology on Election Day that was developed under Chavez’s regime years ago to “make sure he never lost an election.”

On Monday, Powell posted some of her evidence on Twitter, which consisted of three screenshots of an affidavit that she said was signed by a former military official from Venezuela about elections there. According to her and excerpts from the affidavit, elections software company Smartmatic helped the Venezuelan government rig its elections by switching votes and leaving no trail. The military official said in the excerpts that the U.S. election was “eerily reminiscent” of what happened in Venezuela’s 2013 presidential election.

“This person saw, by his own experience, exactly what was happening there was happening here,” Ms. Powell explained to Fox News on Monday.

The accusations triggered the New York Times, which dragged by its anti-Trump bias was forced to suggest that Venezuela's 2017 election was actually quite fair and open...

Previous claims that Smartmatic’s voting machines were rigged in Venezuela have been disputed and are “unsubstantiated,” according to The Associated Press.

... even though it was none other than the New York Times reporting in 2017 that "Venezuela Reported False Election Turnout" citing Smartmatic, whose machines were used in that particular Venezuela election and several previous ones.

Smartmatic has denied any ties to Dominion, while Dominion said that it has “no company ownership relationships with the Pelosi family, Feinstein family, Clinton Global Initiative, Smartmatic, Scytl, or any ties to Venezuela."  Dominion bought assets from a subsidiary of Smartmatic three years after it was sold. Smartmatic wrote on its website that it "does not have any ties to any governments or political parties in any country. It has never been owned, funded or backed by any government."

Which is odd, considering that Wikileaks has leaked several formerly confidential cables disclosing the murky background of Smartmatic. In fact, we urge everyone to read the July 10, 2006 classified cable titled "Caracas' View of Smartmatic and its voting machines" written by Robert Downes, the U.S. Embassy’s political counselor in Caracas at the time. Here is an excerpt:

The Venezuelan-owned Smartmatic Corporation is a riddle both in ownership and operation, complicated by the fact that its machines have overseen several landslide (and contested) victories by President Hugo Chavez and his supporters.  The electronic voting company went from a small technology startup to a market player in just a few years, catapulted by its participation in the August 2004 recall referendum.  Smartmatic has claimed to be of U.S. origin, but its true owners -- probably elite Venezuelans of several political strains -- remain hidden behind a web of holding companies in the Netherlands and Barbados.  The Smartmatic machines used in Venezuela are widely suspected of, though never proven conclusively to be, susceptible to fraud.  The company is thought to be backing out of Venezuelan electoral events, focusing now on other parts of world, including the United States via its subsidiary, Sequoia.  End Summary.

--------------------
Who Owns Smartmatic?
-------------------

2. (C) Smartmatic was founded in the late 90s by three Venezuelans, Antonio Mugica, Alberto Anzola, and Roger Pinate.  According to Mugica's conversations with poloffs in recent years, the three had developed a network capable of handling thousands of simultaneous inputs.  An early application was ATMs in Mexico, but the U.S. presidential election in 2000 led the group to consider electronic voting platforms.  The company formed the SBC consortium with Venezuelan telecom provider CANTV (at the time 28-percent owned by Verizon) and a software company called Bizta. Mugica said Smartmatic held 51-percent of the  consortium, CANTV had 47 percent, and Bizta, 2 percent (ref a).  The latter, also owned by the Smartmatic owners, was  denounced in June 2004 by the press for having received a US$200,000 equity investment from a Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela (BRV) joint venture fund called FONCREI; a Chavez campaign adviser was placed on the board as well.  Bizta reimbursed what it called the "loan" when it was made public and shed the Chavista board member.

3. (C) Mugica has told Poloffs on several occasions that Anzola, Pinate, and he are the owners of Smartmatic, though they have a list of about 30 investors who remain anonymous. Jose Antonio Herrera, Anzola's father-in-law (and first cousin to Venezuelan Ambassador to the United States Bernardo Alvarez), told poloff in 2004 the silent partners were mainly upper class Venezuelans, some of whom were staunch Chavez opponents.  There were rumors, however, that Smartmatic's early profits came from  Venezuelan defense contracts supplied by then-Defense Minister Jose Vicente Rangel, whom Chavez later promoted to Vice President.  Perhaps coincidentally, the Vice President's daughter, Gisela Rangel Avalos, was the head of the local corporate registry when Smartmatic was registered, which contributed to allegations of the Vice President's involvement.  These unconfirmed rumors also suggested that one-time Chavez political mentor Luis Miquilena was also a shareholder in the company.

4. (C) Mugica first approached the Embassy in 2004 when the company was bidding at the National Electoral Council (CNE) to provide a completely new electronic voting system.  Mugica pitched Smartmatic as a U.S. company registered in Delaware with offices in Boca Raton, Florida.  In fact, poloffs had several discussions with Mugica in the course of facilitating his L-1 inter-company transfer visa to work in the United States.  Mugica said the company's corporate offices were in Boca Raton, but most of the research staff of some 70 employees remained in Caracas.  Smartmatic essentially purchased its electoral expertise by hiring veteran election observer AMCIT Jorge Tirado and his team of consultants. Tirado served as the interface between Smartmatic and the CNE for several elections.

It only gets better...

In May 2006, Mugica told Poloff Smartmatic's corporate structure had changed (which had come out in press reports during 2005).  Mugica said that Smartmatic was now two different companies under a Dutch holding company.  U.S. setup was essentially the same, with Delaware registry and the Boca Raton accounting office overseeing U.S. operations. Smartmatic acquired the U.S voting machine company Sequoia Voting Systems on March 8, 2005, Mugica reported.  All U.S. election machinery is assembled in New York, he said.  Mugica noted that while their U.S. operations were important, more than half their sales were outside of Venezuela and the United States.  The other Smartmatic company was based in Bridgetown, Barbados, where Mugica said the international sales operation was located.  Most of the manufacturing for their electoral and other electronic machinery was done in China, Mugica said, with some component work also done in Taiwan.  Smartmatic also manufactures some items in Italy through the company Olivetti (which built the original Smartmatic machines for Venezuela).  The research and development shop was still located in Caracas, Mugica noted.

And better...

-----------------
A Shadow of Fraud
-----------------

6. (C) Of course, the Venezuelan opposition is convinced that the Smartmatic machines robbed them of victory in the August 2004 referendum.  Since then, there have been at least eight statistical analyses performed on the referendum results. Most of the studies cross-check the results with those of exit polls, the signature drives and previous election results.  One study obtained the data log from the CANTV network and supposedly proved that the Smartmatic machines were bi-directional and in fact showed irregularities in how they reported their results to the CNE central server during the referendum.  (Note:  The most suspicious data point in the Smartmatic system was that the machines contacted the server before printing their results, providing the opportunity, at least, to change the results and defeat the rudimentary checks set up by international observation missions.  Since August 2004, the CNE has not repeated this practice.)  These somewhat conspiratorial reports perhaps serve to breathe life into a defeated opposition, but have never proved conclusively the fraud (refs b and c).

And better...

The Smartmatic machines suffered a major blow, however, when in a test prior to the December 2005 National Assembly elections an opposition technician was able to defeat the machine's allegedly random storage protocols and, therefore, the secrecy of the vote.  The technician took advantage of the fact that the computerized machines used a Windows operating system.  A simple program downloaded from the Internet accessed underlying Windows files created "in order" as the machine processed Smartmatic's "randomizing" software.  Although Smartmatic officials argued convincingly that such controlled results could not be feasibly replicated during a real election (ref d), the opposition parties boycotted.  Abstention rates soared to at least 75 percent and confidence in the CNE among opposition voters plummeted. The disastrous results left Chavez with 100-percent control of the National Assembly, an albatross around the neck of a leader trying to appear democratic.

And even better...

-------------------
At Least Corruption
-------------------

8. (C) If Smartmatic can escape the fraud allegation, there is still a corruption question.  Well before Smartmatic, Venezuelan law had dictated that voting ought to be automated to limit fraud -- the U.S. company ES&S and Spanish firm Indra had already sold systems to the electoral body.  When the new pro-Chavez CNE was named in September 2003, however, it immediately set out to replace all existing systems. Declaring the bid process to be an emergency (though there was as yet no referendum scheduled), the CNE bypassed normal procedures and initiated a closed bid process.  Smartmatic won the contract, which totaled at least US$128 million, including the delivery of 20,000 touch-screen voting machines (re-engineered lottery machines) yet to be built.  There were immediate questions about how a virtually unknown company with no electoral experience could have landed such a large contract.  Mugica asserted to poloff that everything was above board, though he conceded the company may have opened itself up to criticism by hiring a former interior vice minister named Morris Loyo to lobby the government.  There were additional allegations of impropriety in October 2005 when the press reported that Smartmatic had paid the bill of CNE President Jorge Rodriguez at an exclusive Boca Raton resort.  The company claimed Rodriguez had reimbursed them for the stay, during which Rodriguez reportedly examined an unspecified electoral system Smartmatic was developing. There were subsequent, unconfirmed rumors that Rodriguez was lobbying for Smartmatic in other countries.

Until we get to the startling conclusion:

Smartmatic is a riddle.  The company came out of nowhere to snatch a multli-million dollar contract in an electoral process that ultimately reaffirmed Chavez' mandate and all-but destroyed his political opposition.  The perspective we have here, after several discussions with Smartmatic, is that the company is de facto Venezuelan and operated by Venezuelans.  The identity of Smartmatic's true owners remains a mystery.  Our best guess is that there are probably several well-known Venezuelan businessmen backing the company who prefer anonymity either because of their political affiliation or, perhaps, because they manage the interests of senior Venezuelan government officials.

This is all from a confidential State Dept cable written in 2006.

Since then one can only imagine what fascinating changes have taken place to the org chart of the mysterious "riddle" that is the "de facto Venezuelan" Smartmatic, which emerged out of obscurity to win a top government contract in 2003, prompting the US State Department to ask "how a virtually unknown company with no electoral experience could have landed such a large contract." What is more fascinating is how for so many years, this mysterious company was directly involved in one allegation of election fraud in Venezuela after another (whereby communist dictators Chavez and Maduro won in consecutive "landslides") before it somehow made its way into the US.

Suspension Of Disbelief, Part 2

ORIGINAL LINK

percentage-of-positive-viral-culture.jpg

Our theme is suspension of disbelief, and nowhere is that more evident than in the manner in which the case count has become a flashing neon indicator of crisis. No questions asked. Yet anyone paying even half-assed attention can see that “cases” are a function of testing, not an accelerating spread of the virus; and […]

U.S. Army records confirm New York was never overrun with COVID-19 cases

ORIGINAL LINK

“Health officials wanted to avoid what happened in hospitals in New York City, where refrigerated trailers were used as temporary morgues,” warns the CBC (Coronavirus Broadcasting Corporation) in a recent Morning Brief.

Well, I doubt the cadavers minded whether they were in a truck or a basement; it’s more sad that their families were not allowed to hold funeral services because of the unnecessary lockdown.

Either way, a rising curve probably had little to do with the New York oddity. More suspect were the the $39,000 payments dangled in front of hospital CEOs if they would rush patients on to ventilators (as many nurses have testified).

But any such backload of patients was not enough to max-out New York hospitals.

Yes, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers did indeed hand over $660 million to private construction companies to build field hospitals, according to an NPR analysis. “But nearly four months into the pandemic, most of these facilities haven’t treated a single patient,” reported NPR journalist, Joel Rose.

That included three in New York State.

I respond to this point (with a screenshot of the records), and many more, in a new article I wrote, Is the CBC Drowning Itself in a Second Wave of Corona Disinformation? (published this week on The Centre for Research on Globalization).

In Shocking Reversal, Wayne County Election Board Republicans Rescind Certifications; Claim Family Threatened Tyler Durden Thu, 11/19/2020 - 06:14

In a stunning development out of Wayne County, Michigan - two GOP members of the Board of Canvassers have rescinded their certifications of the Nov. 3 vote, claiming they were bullied into approving the election results in the state's most populous county, which includes Detroit and surrounding areas.

Their initial refusal to vote placed the Board in a 2-2 deadlock, putting in jeopardy the state's ability to certify Joe Biden's win. Hours later, the two flip-flopped and agreed to certify. Now, they're taking it back.

"I rescind my prior vote to certify Wayne County elections," wrote Monica Palmer in a sworn affidavit, who along with fellow GOP board member William C. Hartmann refused to certify the election on Tuesday. The two fell under intense pressure from the left - with Palmer claiming that her family was threatened (via Just The News). The two were also doxxed over social media.

"The comments made accusations of racism and threatened me and members of my family," continues Palmer's affidavit, addimg: "The Wayne County election had serious process flaws which deserve investigation. I continue to ask for information to assure Wayne County voters that these elections were conducted fairly and accurately. Despite repeated requests I have not received the requisite information and believe an additional 10 days of canvas by the State Board of canvassers will help provide the information necessary."

Hartmann, in a similar affidavit, wrote "I voted not to certify, and I still believe this vote should not be certified." He added that he and Palmer "were berated and ridiculed by members of the public and other Board members."

"The public ostracism continued for hours..." he continued - next describing how he was told by Wayne County attorney, Janet Anderson-Davis, that "discrepancies [in the vote] were not a reason to reject the certification," and that he only voted to certify "based on her explicit legal guidance."

"Later that evening, I was enticed to agree to certify based on a promise that a full and independent audit would take place," he said - only to learn on Wednesday that state officials had reneged or would otherwise not honor the audit.

As JustTheNews' John Solomon notes, "It was not immediately unclear whether the Tuesday night compromise was binding or could be changed, or whether the two members' decision to announce their rescinded votes would stop Michigan state officials from proceeding to name electors."

Cambridge virologist: Lockdowns and masks are 'greatest hoax ever'

After listing his credentials, a Cambridge University-trained virologist spoke in a public forum against the extension of a mask mandate in one of Canada's largest cities, calling comprehensive lockdowns, masks and other mitigation efforts against the coronavirus "utterly unfounded public hysteria driven by the media and politicians."

"It's outrageous. This is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on an unsuspecting population," said Dr. Roger Hodkinson, the CEO of Western Medical Assessments.

Dr. Roger Hodkinson (Video screenshot)

He was speaking via telephone during an Edmonton City Council Community and Public Services Committee meeting last Friday regarding the Alberta city's move to extend its face-covering bylaw.

Hodkinson began with a summary of his credentials to ensure he not be regarded as a "quack."

He said he is a medical specialist in pathology, which includes virology, who trained at Cambridge University in England. A Royal College certified pathologist in Canada, he is the former chairman of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons committee in Ottawa. Hodkinson served as CEO of a large private medical laboratory in Edmonton, Alberta, and now runs MutantDx, a molecular diagnostics company in North Carolina that provides COVID-19 tests.

Hodkinson warned that what he was about to say was "lay language and blunt" and "counter-narrative."

"There is absolutely nothing that can be done to contain this virus other than protecting older, more vulnerable people," he said.

"It should be thought of as nothing other than a bad flu season," said Hodkinson. "This is not ebola. It's not SARS."

The reaction to the coronavirus is "politics playing medicine, and that's a very dangerous game."

"There is no action of any kind needed other than what happened last year when we got unwell," he said. "We stayed home, we took chicken noodle soup, we didn’t visit granny, and we decided when we would return to work. We didn’t need anyone to tell us."

White House coronavirus adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci, in fact, co-authored an article published March 26 in the New England Journal of Medicine predicting the case fatality rate for COVID-19 would turn out to be like that of a "severe seasonal influenza," about one-tenth of 1%. The Centers for Disease Control now estimates the survival rate for those infected with COVID-19 is 99.997% for ages 0-19; 99.98% for 20-49; 99.5% for 50-69; and 94.6% for those 70 and older. The World Health Organization's estimate in March of a death rate of 3.4% sparked panic worldwide, fueling the catastrophic lockdowns.

Hodkinson said masks "are utterly useless."

"There is no evidence base for their effectiveness, whatsoever," he said. "Paper masks and fabric masks are simply virtue signaling."

Masks are not worn correctly most of the time, the physician said.

"It's utterly ridiculous, seeing these uneducated people -- I'm not saying that in a pejorative sense -- seeing these walking around like lemmings obeying with any knowledge base to put the mask on their face," he said.

He said "social distancing" is also useless because COVID-19 spread by aerosol, which travels some 30 yards before landing.

A randomized, controlled Danish study published this week in the Annals of Internal Medicine found that a "recommendation to wear a surgical mask when outside the home among others did not reduce, at conventional levels of statistical significance, incident [COVID-19] infection compared with no mask recommendation."

In October, an analysis of a dozen graphs charting the number of COVID-19 cases in countries and U.S. states confirmed the conclusions of recent studies that mask mandates have no effect on the spread of the disease.

Hear Dr. Roger Hodkinson's remarks:

Hodkinson said every business and public place should be "open tomorrow," as stated in the "Great Barrington Declaration," a petition launched by Stanford, Harvard and Oxford epidemiologists arguing for not restricting the healthy while protecting the vulnerable.

WND reported last Wednesday the coronavirus adviser to Joe Biden who is advocating a national lockdown of four to six weeks argued against lockdowns in March in a Washington Post op-ed, advocating the strategy promoted by the "Great Barrington Declaration."

'You've gotta get a grip on this'

Hodkinson also weighed in on testing, noting he is in the business of testing for COVID-19.

"I do want to emphasize that positive tests do not, underlined in neon, mean a clinical infection," he said.

"It's simply driving public hysteria, and all testing should stop unless you're presenting to hospital with some respiratory symptoms," said Hodkinson.

In August, the New York Times found in an analysis of data that up to 90% of people testing positive for COVID-19 carried barely any virus.

Times reporter Apoorva Mandavilli summarized her story on Twitter: "NEW: All these months into the pandemic, we may have been testing the wrong way. Data from some state labs suggest up to 90% (!!) of people who get a positive result are no longer contagious and don't need to isolate."

Hodkinson said "all that should be done" from a public policy standpoint "is to protect the vulnerable."

He recommended giving everyone in nursing homes 3000 to 5000 international units of Vitamin D everyday, "which has shown to radically reduce the likelihood of infection."

He pointed to statistics by the province of Alberta indicating the risk of death for people under 65 in the province is one in 300,000.

"One in 300,000! You've gotta get a grip on this," he said. "The scale of the response that you are undertaking with no evidence for it is utterly ridiculous given the consequences of acting in a way that you’re proposing."

He pointed to "all kinds of suicides, business closures, funerals, weddings, etc., etc."

"It's simply outrageous," he said. "It's just another bad flu and you’ve gotta get your minds around that."

The physician called for people to "make their own decisions."

"You should be totally out of the business of medicine. You’re being led down the garden path by the chief medical officer of health for this province," he said.

"I'm absolutely outraged that this has reached this level. It should all stop tomorrow. Thank you very much."

The moderator of the public forum was appreciative.

"Well, thank you for that, again," he said. "Hopefully all the layers of government are listening. We have the least amount of influence, but we definitely appreciate everything you had to say."

Major peer-reviewed study finds masks don't work

ORIGINAL LINK

The first large, randomized controlled trial of its kind showed no statistically significant difference in COVID-19 cases between people who wore masks and those who did not.

The Danish study published this week in the Annals of Internal Medicine found that a "recommendation to wear a surgical mask when outside the home among others did not reduce, at conventional levels of statistical significance, incident [COVID-19] infection compared with no mask recommendation."

Among 6,000 participants in Denmark, half were told to wear masks and half were not. The researchers found 42 of the participants who were told to wear masks contracted COVID-19, while 53 in the control group got the disease.

The authors concluded the difference was not statistically significant.

Critics of the study argue the researchers did not investigate specifically whether masks prevented people infected with COVID-19 from infecting other people.

A Danish newspaper reported the mask study had been completed three months ago, but it was rejected by leading three medical journals because the results are controversial.

The Blaze noted that prior to changing its position on universal mask-wearing, the Centers for Disease Control cited 10 randomized controlled trials that showed "no significant reduction in influenza transmission with the use of face masks."

In October, an analysis of a dozen graphs charting the number of COVID-19 cases in countries and U.S. states confirmed the conclusions of recent studies that mask mandates have no effect on the spread of the disease.

Meanwhile, Pennsylvania on Tuesday imposed new COVID-19 restrictions that will require wearing masks in homes if someone from outside a household is present, even if physical distance can be maintained.

"Wearing a mask is really one of the simplest steps we can take to stop the spread of COVID-19," she said.

About 40 states have implemented mask requirements of some sort, according to a database maintained by the New York Times.

In Wisconsin, Democratic Gov. Tony Evers announced Wednesday that he will sign an executive order extending the state’s mask mandate into 2021.

Former Vice President Joe Biden is urging Americans to wear a mask, claiming it could save at least 100,000 lives until Inauguration Day, Jan. 20.

Rejected by three journals

The Danish paper Berlingske reported the study was rejected by the Lancet, the New England Journal of Medicine and the American Medical Association's journal JAMA.

According to the Danish newspaper @berlingske tre scientific journals have refused to publish the results of the first major scientific investigation the effect of use of masks during the Covid-19 pandemic. Apparently because the results might not show what is politically correct pic.twitter.com/OJ6ZRq8idp

— Lars Christensen (@MaMoMVPY) October 21, 2020

Former New York Times reporter Alex Berenson, who has reported extensively on the coronavirus, wrote in an Oct. 18 tweet that he had corresponded with the lead researcher in the Danish study, Thomas Lars Benfield.

He asked Benfield when the study would be published.

The researcher's answer was: "as soon as a journal is brave enough."

A lead investigator on the Danish mask study - the ONLY (as far as I know) randomized trial to see if masks protect from #COVID - was asked when it would be published.

His answer: “as soon as a journal is brave enough.”

If you think that means the study shows masks work... pic.twitter.com/tm5PFBa5TL

— Alex Berenson (@AlexBerenson) October 18, 2020

The editor in chief of Annals of Internal Medicine, Dr. Christine Laine, said the Danish study did a good job of answering the specific question of whether or not face masks protect wearers from COVID-19 in areas with low infection rates and high levels of social distancing, Forbes reported.

"It did not answer the question about whether widespread masking mitigates SARS-CoV-2 infection," she says, adding that while there were concerns over misinterpretation, the editors agreed publishing it was important because it was "the only randomized control trial of masks for SARS-CoV-2 infection that has been done to date" and it was a "well-designed study."

Forbes reported that while the study found little evidence that masks protected the wearers from Covid-19, it should not be used as evidence to not wear a mask, according the "lead author" of the study, Dr. Henning Bundgaard, professor of cardiology at Rigshospitalet in Denmark.

"Even a small degree of protection is worth using the face masks, because you are protecting yourself against a potentially life-threatening disease," he said.

In a reponse to the study also published by the journal, Dr. Tom Frieden, former director for the Centers for Disease Control, contended the authors used antibody tests to diagnose cases of COVID-19, which could have led to a significant number of false positives.

He also argued the authors did not ensure that people who were told to wear masks wore them correctly or at all times.

Bundgaard replied, insisting the compliance rate was still "considerably better" in the study compared to regular society.

While agreeing it was possible that the antibody tests could have led to false positives, he reasoned that the "risk is in both groups, and that would probably even it out."

Donald Trump Isn’t Just Playing Golf, He Is Purging the Pentagon

In the midst of the presidential election results, President Donald Trump undertook to purge the Pentagon of the rebel leaders. The first target was the Secretary of Defense, who kept lying to hide the real objectives of the general officers.

Once the presidential election is over, the tenant of the White House has only the right to manage the day-to-day business. But just before the Federal Election Commission announced the results of the election, President Donald Trump began an unprecedented cleanup of the Pentagon.

The U.S. press, always busy portraying him as an incompetent narcissist, does not seem to think this is important. It presents him as playing golf.

However, he dismissed:
- Secretary of Defense Mark Esper (replaced by Christopher Miller);
- his chief of staff, Jen Stewart (replaced by Kash Patel);
- the Director of Defense Policy, James Anderson (replaced by Anthony Tata);
- Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security Joseph Kernan (replaced by Ezra Cohen-Watnick); and
- Nato Liaison Officer Michael Ryan (replaced by Andrew Winternitz)

This movement of personnel is easy to interpret: since the announcement by the major media of an undivided victory of Joe Biden, the confessions of high-ranking civil servants recounting the way they sabotaged years of Jacksonian politics have multiplied [1] The ousted officials are suspected of covering them and even plotting to overthrow President Trump. On the contrary, the senior officials promoted are loyal to the current president and all share the conviction of close ties between the Clinton and Obama presidencies and the Muslim Brotherhood.

It may seem far-fetched to talk about a foreign secret society in connection with the US presidential election. This is not the case, however.

Kash Patel would have pushed this reshuffle. Former assistant to Devin Nunes’ representative on the Intelligence Committee, he had played a role in demonstrating the surveillance of Donald Trump by the Obama administration and in Russiagate’s ineptitude [2]. He was then appointed Deputy Assistant to President Trump and Director of Counterterrorism at the National Security Council. Of Indian origin, he knows the role of the Muslim Brotherhood in the organization of Islamist attacks.

The new Secretary of Defense is the former director of the Counterterrorism Center, Colonel Christopher Miller. One can therefore assume that he has a thorough knowledge of the Muslim Brotherhood nebula.

The new Director of Defence Policy is Brigadier General Anthony Tata. A former commentator for Fox News, he has several times accused President Obama and the Clintons of being the chief terrorists of jihadist networks. Carried away by his momentum, he also accused the former director of the CIA, John O. Brennan, of having hatched an assassination attempt on President Trump, which turned out to be defamatory (but not the first claim). He will be assisted by Thomas Williams, a former member of the National Security Council who was trained by Zbigniew Brzezinski.

The new Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security is Ezra Cohen-Watnick. He is a former member of General Michael Flynn’s Military Intelligence team that fought against the Muslim Brotherhood in the field. He has a reputation for refusing political compromises.

The new head of Europe and NATO is Andrew Winternitz. This Japanese political scientist has already been in charge of France at the Pentagon for several years. He is the only member of the new team who has not had to fight against the Brotherhood.

This upheaval came very late: for four years, Pentagon officials did everything they could to avoid applying President Trump’s instructions and prolong the conflicts. Trump had given them a great deal of leeway, which allowed them to act in other areas without fear of a military coup d’état. In recent months, however, the general officers have increasingly shown their willingness to use the health crisis to keep all politicians, including President Trump, out of the public arena; an attitude in total contradiction to the troops’ support for the Jacksonian president.

Clearly, the positions of the various parties vis-à-vis the Muslim Brotherhood were a criterion for this reshuffle. Given the close ties of the Obama (President Barack and his half-brother Abon’go Malik) and Clinton (President Bill and Secretary of State Hillary) families to the Brotherhood [3], everything suggests that these events are linked to the current institutional crisis in the United States….
