Bashar al-Assad's London-born wife is facing calls for her British citizenship to be stripped after she used her prolific Instagram account to accuse the West of lying over her husband's use of Sarin gas. Asma al-Assad, originally from Acton, west London, is followed by a combined 500,000 across Instagram, Facebook and Telegram - the latter being an app that has been earmarked as a breeding ground for terrorism.
