More than six months have passed since the president first tweeted about hydroxychloroquine as a potential treatment for Covid-19. Since then, some studies have claimed that it works, and others not.

A person who claims to be a program manager at Google Cloud has told investigative journalists with Project Veritas that the search engine is intentionally manipulating results in order to benefit the Democrats and to hinder President Trump’s campaign.
Ritesh Lakhkar, who identified himself as a technical program manager at Google’s Cloud service, made the comments in footage released Monday. The interview appears to have been filmed without Lakhkar’s knowledge.
The project manager accused Google of “playing god” with US politics, and of ‘skewing’ it’s algorithms to project negative news and talking points where Trump is concerned.
BREAKING: @Google Program Manager Confirms Election Interference In Favor of @JoeBiden

Google search “skewed by owners and drivers of the algorithm”
“Plain and simple trying to play god”#ExposeGoogle pic.twitter.com/swyV1W3ZKt
When asked if Google favours one party over another, Lakhkar commented that “The wind is blowing toward Democrats, because GOP equals Trump and Trump equals GOP. Everybody hates it, even though GOP may have good traits, no one wants to acknowledge them right now.”
“So the wind is blowing toward Democrats, so let’s skew the results toward Democrats,” he added.
“It’s skewed by the owners or the drivers of the algorithm,” Lakhkar explains, adding “Like, if I say ‘Hey Google, here’s another two billion dollars, feed this data set of whenever Joe Biden is searched, you’ll get these results.’”
Remember when Google had that meeting in 2016 after Trump won and vowed to never let it happen again?
— Paul Joseph Watson (@PrisonPlanet) October 20, 2020
Have you tried finding anything on Google in the last 2 years that doesn't amplify Democrat talking points?
"Oh, but there's no bias...we're non partisan."
Yeah, OK. 😄
Lakhkar slammed Big Tech for “playing god and taking away freedom of speech on both sides.”
He emphasised that “Like, if it was fraud it doesn’t matter, but for Trump or Melania Trump, it matters… Trump says something, misinformation. You’re going to delete that because it’s illegal under whatever pretext. And if a Democratic leader says that, you’re going to leave it.”
Describing the working environment at Google, Lakhkar said “your opinion matters more than your work.”
“When Trump won the first time, people were crying in the corridors of Google. There were protests, there were marches. There were like, I guess, group therapy sessions for employees organized by HR,” he said.
The whistleblower continued, “I guess that’s one of the reasons I feel suffocated [at Google]. Because on one side you have this unprofessional attitude, and on the other side you have this ultra-leftist attitude. Your entire existence is questioned.”
Google has not responded to the allegations at time of writing.

It seems in our complicated world many murky relationships develop that come across as inappropriate. Over the years, growing crony capitalism has become the bane of modern society and added greatly to inequality. This is why, when we look at Hunter Biden and how he benefited from his father's role as Vice President an investigation is in order. Even before we get to what happened in Ukraine, the ties between China and the Biden family are too many and too large to ignore. President Trump has received a lot of criticism related to how he gained his wealth, however, almost all of what Trump has done he did as an outsider and not as part of the ruling political class.
Before going deeper into this subject it is very important to look at how the "Biden revelations" are being handled by the media. The way media has handled these allegations reveal a flaw or bias in both mainstream media and social media to the point where even censorship is being deployed. A good example of the spin being put on this red flag of corruption can be seen in an article that appeared under trending stories on my city's main news outlet. Here in the conservation heartland of America, the media published a piece titled; "Biden email episode illustrates risk to Trump from Giuliani"
The Associated Press piece written by Eric Tucker shines the spotlight on Rudy Giuliani portraying him as the messenger of Russian contrived information aimed at damaging Biden and influencing the election. It starts off referring to "a New York tabloid’s puzzling account about how it acquired emails purportedly from Joe Biden’s son has raised some red flags." Then claims that during Giuliani's travels abroad looking for dirt on the Bidens he developed relationships with some rather questionable figures. These include a Ukrainian lawmaker who U.S. officials have described as a Russian agent and part of a broader Russian effort to denigrate the Democratic presidential nominee.
The piece then moves on to the area of how the FBI seems more interested in the emails as part of a foreign influence operation than wrongdoing by Hunter or his father. The people reading this article are informed how this is just another latest episode involving Giuliani that "underscores the risk he poses to the White House" which has spent years dealing with a federal investigation into whether Trump associates had coordinated with Russia.
The part of the article that got my goat was when it referred to how " The Washington Post reported Thursday that intelligence agencies had warned the White House last year that Giuliani was the target of a Russian influence operation." Sighting the Washington Post as an authority and bastion of truth is a common tactic used by journalists to add validity to their bias and lazy reporting. Tucker forgot to mention The Washington Post is the propaganda mouthpiece of Amazon and owned by its CEO Jeff Bezos the richest man in the world which has had several run-ins with the President.
The effort to denigrate Giuliani rather than focus on Biden wrongdoings cites both "former officials' and statements made by a person "who was not authorized to discuss an ongoing investigation and spoke on condition of anonymity to AP," and of course, the exact scope of what was being investigated was not clear. Claiming that many people in the West Wing have been concerned about Giuliani's actions or saying the president has expressed private dismay at Giuliani’s scattershot style does not make it true.
Thinking a case can be made that Hunter enriched himself by selling access to his father but claiming Giuliani’s lack of credibility will cause the allegations to implode is a bit of a reach. This fact much of what appears to be bribe-taking at the highest levels of government has been overlooked for so long is in its self is a problem. The appointment of an unqualified Hunter Biden to the board of a Ukrainian energy company with a reported compensation package worth some $50,000 per month led the Wall Street Journal, to publish a scathing article, on May 13, 2014. bringing the issue before the public.
At criminal.findlaw.com, FindLaw's team of legal writers and editors detail what constitutes bribery. It is offering or accepting anything of value in exchange to influence a government/public official or employee. Bribes can take many forms of gifts or payments of money in exchange for favorable treatment, such as awards of government contracts. Other forms of bribes may include property, various goods, privileges, services, and favors. Bribes are always intended to influence or alter the action of various individuals and are linked to both political and public corruption. In most situations, both the person offering the bribe and the person accepting can be charged.
Was Influence Peddled Or Bribes Taken?
Both giving and receiving bribes is usually a felony with significant legal ramifications. Influence peddling, the illegal practice of using one's influence in government or connections with persons in authority to obtain favors or preferential treatment falls into this category. One thing is clear, whenever we are talking about the involvement of huge sums of money, foreign players, officials holding high public office, or family members of politicians a few eyebrows should get raised. With this in mind, the Biden problem extends well past Hunter but also into how other family members have profited from Joe's time as Vice President such as his brother's involvement in a huge government contract in Iraq.
The issue of Hunter Biden receiving money from Russia, Ukraine, and China surfaced during the first Presidential debate and Biden claimed it was a story already discredited by authorities. This narrative was destroyed when the Washington Times acknowledged the Treasury Department records confirm Hunter Biden received a wire transfer for $3.5 million from the Mayor of Moscow’s wife. It is difficult to find anyone that holds Hunter in high esteem and the fact the United States suspects the woman sending him this money built much of her wealth through corruption does little to improve his standing. For those of us cynical of all the so-called public servants that seem to line their pockets and hold the attitude they are above the law this is a big red flag.
If the veil of secrecy surrounding Hunter's career is lifted we will most likely find Hunter's dad did share in the spoils bestowed upon not only his son but others in the Biden family. I contend Joe Biden's cozy relationship with corruption is why former President Obama did not rush to endorse Biden when he announced he planned to run. To be clear, we are talking about, millions, and hundreds of millions of dollars or more. For us cynics, we see this as what may be only the tip of the spear when it comes to public officials throwing the American people under the bus for fun and profit. As a voter, this dovetails with my concern about Biden's relationship and attitude towards China which I consider a major issue.
(2) Crazy follow-up: the 17-23% Black fatherlessness rates that horrified Danny Moynihan and led to his Report are lower than those for ALL non-Asian groups today: Caucasians sit at 35.4%, Hispanic and Native groups at 50-66%, Blacks at 71%, and the nation as a whole at 42%.

I confess to being a great fan of Bernard Cornwell's historical fiction, having just finished his Richard Sharpe series covering the Napoleonic wars. His battle scenes are so well written that you can almost feel the spray of blood and gore when a cannonball decimates a squad of advancing infantry next to the protagonist.
Yet nothing in the fictional career of Richard Sharpe quite compares to the unprecedented real-world shock and awe cluster bombing of Joe Biden and the Democratic elites by the Trump campaign with the Hunter Biden laptop scandals. I say scandals, plural, because this isn't just one criminal enterprise being exposed to the public, but a whole Pandora's box of Biden family secrets that indict not just their own criminal actions, but implicate the entire nest of deep state snakes by association, while also putting all the hyper-partisan, ethically corrupt news and social media entities under a white-hot spotlight for all the world to see.
My personal favorite microcosm of the still-expanding field of political carnage is the corner where the swamp rat Christopher Wray (FBI director) has been trapped by the disclosure that he has had possession of Hunter's laptop for months but withheld all of its Trump-absolving evidence from Congress and the public during the impeachment scam. I can't recall a clearer example of a bureaucrat being caught "red-handed" in the act of malfeasance.
Of course, all the many anti-Trump players in Big Tech and Big Media tried to clamp a lid on the pot when it first started boiling over, thinking they could suppress and spin the news as they've done so effectively in the past. But even as they rushed to contain the damage, more and different scandals from the same pot exploded right in their faces, simultaneously exposing their bias and hypocrisy to the suddenly curious general public. There is no containing the scandals now: The Biden family demons are out of the box, the genie of Trump vindication is out of the bottle, and very soon the rats will start fleeing the sinking ship. Never have so many metaphors mixed so smoothly together!
I hesitated to write this column because the story is unfolding so fast and furiously that by the time it gets published, the specific items we're discussing today might seem like old news. But the more I think about it, the bigger story that won't lose its timeliness is the fact that the Dems knew all of this was coming! They committed these crimes. Their deep state agents have had the evidence in their possession all along. That, of course, explains the Democrats' desperation and motive for unsuccessfully expending their entire political arsenal over the past four years to remove Trump from office.
What it does not explain – at least not superficially – is why they allowed Joe Biden to be their standard-bearer in this election. Perhaps they were so confident that they would take Trump down that they considered the risk of Joe's exposure to be minimal. I read a piece recently that suggested just the opposite, that they knew Trump would win and allowed Joe the honor of being their candidate as a reward for his many years of faithful service – a la John McCain vs. sure-winner Barack Obama. But that assumes a generosity of spirit that I do not believe exists among the Dem elites. I think itis more likely that yes, they (meaning Joe's superiors: Obama, the Clintons and probably the Bushes – at least their man Romney) expected/feared that Trump would win, and they needed somebody to throw to the wolves. To mix metaphors again, as the saying goes, you don't have to run faster than the bear, you only have to run faster than the other guy he's chasing.
Biden is not only the most expendable of the group, his increasing dementia will justify or excuse his own and his handlers' obfuscation efforts and at the same time make him a more sympathetic defendant in the public "trial" to come. He can (they hope) become for the Dems what Morris Dees has always been for the leftist hate group the Southern Poverty Law Center: a sacrificial sin-eater/scapegoat to absorb all public opprobrium directed their way, thus allowing the rest of the conspirators to escape scrutiny and accountability.
As rich a smorgasbord as the Biden scandals represent, they are not the only offerings at the Trump October Surprise Party. There are also hearty slabs of red meat in the form of emerging new details about the Benghazi scandal, and purported evidence that Obama's massive $152 billion payoff of Iran was actually extorted from him by the Iranians to buy their silence over the allegedly staged assassination of an Osama bin Laden body-double packaged as a "trophy kill" to boost Obama's reelection. Supposedly, there is even proof that SEAL Team 6 was assassinated by his administration.
The Biden base, including the news and social media, have no new defense against any of this, just more of the same suppression, stalling and distraction tactics they've used all along. But these scandals are so huge and so juicy – including alleged video of Hunter Biden sexually cavorting with young girls – that they really can't be contained by a media industry that salivates over any chance to "break news" of a scandalous nature. There will be a mighty schizophrenic inner struggle between the desire to protect their candidate on the one hand and the lust to "get the scoop" on the competition on the other. Their united front on Biden will likely crumble.
But that might not even be necessary for the public to finally see Biden as the rotten crook he is, because the Trump base is so highly energized with zeal for the president and so infuriated by the bias and censorship of the leftist controlled public information systems that the entire Trump army has already taken it upon themselves to spread the truth by old-fashioned word-of-mouth.
I spent 90 minutes at a Trump stand-out today at a busy intersection of state roads in Massachusetts, not all that far from the liberal bastion of Umass Amherst. I was simply stunned at the massive pro-Trump response of the passing traffic. It wasn't just a few people, it was a huge percentage of the drivers. There were about 30 to 50 of us holding Trump and Blue Lives Matter signs, and then a rowdy Trump car and truck convoy came by – at least a mile long.
Again, this is Massachusetts – under RINO Gov. Charlie Baker's "second wave" lockdown! The left expected these people to be curled into a fetal position by now. But instead of desperation they're filled with elation and all because our great president is throwing us a blow-out October Surprise Party to celebrate his imminent reelection. Make sure you earn your right to party with us for four more years by voting in person on Nov. 3!

Look around you at the smoldering ruins of American society, and it’s clear that you owe our garbage Establishment nothing.
Not loyalty.
Not respect.
Not obedience.
Nothing.
It has failed you. And now it is dead to you.
Tear it all down.
Rip out its rotten foundations.
Burn the poisonous debris.
Rebuild it on a foundation of the Constitution.
There was once a social contract out there that we all thought we all signed on to. You know the outlines of the implicit deal. We agreed to give up certain prerogatives and to provide prestige and prosperity to those people – who became the Establishment – who would run our institutions for us. For example, we outsourced our right to avenge ourselves to the justice system and (except for immediate self-defense) to keep order to the police. We would respect and trust the objective, neutral truthtellers, called “journalists,” who would gather and disseminate the news and information we needed to be active citizens. And, in a formal way under our Constitution, we agreed to give government officials enumerated powers and to be bound by the rules implemented via due process and limited by the Bill of Rights.
It was imperfect, as all human endeavors are, but on the whole it worked.
Until now.
Our institutions are old. Most date from just after World War II, or even further back. How about the example of academia? For the most part, in terms of practice, the only major difference between the typical college class today and one a century ago is that the person lecturing the hungover sophomores knows which bathroom to use. What is different is that it doesn’t work anymore – those mush-minded teens are not learning the info they need to be citizens, both because what they are being fed is rancid propaganda and because there are no standards anymore. Oh, and it costs more than the average American makes in a year to get young Kaden or Ashleigh that Collectivist Pottery bachelor’s degree.
And because the institutions are old, the geniuses and innovators who founded those institutions are long dead. Our institutions are run by people who didn’t build them. They inherited them, and like the vast majority of heirs, they are screw-ups. Take a look at the Kennedys if you’re unclear on how generations devolve over time. JFK captained PT 109, became president, and scored with Marilyn Monroe. This generation of Kennedys mostly scores dope. As Instapundit Glenn Reynolds says, we have the worst ruling class in American history.
Moreover, technology is disrupting the comfy university scam. I like to take long walks and listen to Audible. I like Roman history – which is super relevant right now and which has very much influenced my upcoming novel in the People’s Republic series – and for about $14 I can listen to entire graduate-level courses on the subject by very best professors in the world. Who needs Harvard – except insecure people who can’t not let drop that they went to Harvard within 30 seconds of meeting you?
Other institutions have also been disrupted by technology. Newspapers still call themselves “newspapers,” but technology has eliminated the “papers” part, while their gross political partisanship has eliminated the “news” part. Hollywood used to be modeled on a few thousand big rooms showing moving, talking pictures, but technology has changed that to a few million small rooms showing moving, talking pictures. While the ability to make content has increased exponentially as the price of production has dropped, Hollywood still tries to maintain control by centralizing distribution via Netflix, Hulu and so on. This is true across the spectrum of institutions. They are trying to maintain the status quo despite their institutional obsolescence because the status quo means control. The institutions’ focus is no longer on doing the jobs those institutions were supposed to do. It is on preserving the institutions in their current, corrupt and inept form, and thereby the power of the corrupt, inept elite that runs those institutions.
What’s this mean? It means that we cannot count on the institutions to do their job – that is, to do those things we need them to do – because their real job is now perpetuating their operators’ grift.
Take the FBI, please – take it to wherever J. Edgar Hoover is buried, and even he’d be freaked out and spinning in his grave and getting all tangle in his burial gown. The FBI used to be the the gold standard, the crème de la crème of law enforcement. And, instead of being Efrem Zimbalist, Jr., rounding up mobsters, bank robbers, and commies, it’s a bunch of fugly geeks awkwardly boinking each other when they aren’t trying to frame the president. The FBI got the Hunter Biden computer about a year ago, a computer full of emails about the Democrat nominee’s crack-curious son’s adventures in influence peddling with Ukrainian robber barons and the Chi-Coms, and if some computer repair guy in New Jersey hadn’t thought to keep a copy of the contents the FBI would have deep-sixed the hard drive just like it did Weiner’s laptop in service of their Establishment masters.
In fact, leakers are leaking that it’s the RUSSIANS at it again in order to actively and willfully cover up the biggest corruption story in American history. But hey, rest easy knowing the Eff Bee Eye is all over any garage door pull knots that freak out losing race car drivers.
Law enforcement is supposed to protect us by enforcing the law. Now it lets off rioters but will go gangbusters on you should you defend your family from leftist savages. We have seen that there are always cops who will choose their pension over their duty and bust your church or synagogue for illegal praying. The elite needs minions to do its dirty work and shamefully some doughnut-gobblers have proven themselves only too eager to obey. And even if you do manage to demonstrate that your prosecution is so corrupt that even our garbage DOJ wants to dismiss it, an Establishment judge won’t let you and an appeals court won’t make him even though the law says they must.
You cannot avail yourself of the law. The Establishment, which is supposed to uphold it, ignores it when it limits them and abuses it to restrict you. That seems problematic in the long term.
And then there’s the media – well, we knew it was trash, but the last week has even boggled the minds of the most cynical critics. A few weeks ago, there was a collective spasm over the “losers and suckers” claims by four anonymous sources that were refuted by 25 on-the-record sources. This week, there was hard evidence of Biden business badness and the mainstream media swung into action to actively deny and excuse the evidence. The biggest corruption story of all time – a vice president running an influence peddling ring for foreigners – and the media’s response is to tell us there’s nothing to see. And then, when the tech fascists decided to suppress the news, the media actively supported this censorship.
The Establishment has failed. It failed to meet its most basic obligations. What’s this mean?
That means you’re free.
You owe it nothing, not respect, deference, or obedience.
So don’t give it any of these.
See, the Establishment succeeds in spite of its manifest incompetence and greed because of inertia. It perpetuates because we go along with it as if everything is normal. It counts on us thinking what we are witnessing are merely the occasional blips and problems inherent in any human endeavor instead of the systemic failure that it demonstrates. This rot is real and dramatic and, untreated, will be fatal to our country. Remember the Romans? You start changing the rules and sooner or later instead of a Republic you have an emperor who marries his horse.
Conservatism is no longer about conserving; it’s about ripping apart the whole corrupt system and overthrowing the garbage Establishment.

We’re told by Chinese dissident, Luther (or Lude), that three high-ranking members of the Old Guard of the CCP, former Chairman Jiang Zemin, former Politburo member Zeng Qinhong and former Attorney General Meng Jianzhu delivered three hard drives to the US Department of Justice, the first of which appears to share the same or similar files to the ones described in the laptop abandoned by Hunter Biden at a repair shop in Delaware.
To recap:
1) The first hard drive contains shocking videos of Hunter Biden sexually abusing and violently torturing female children, along with a copy of the $4.5 billion Kazakhstan and Ukraininan natural gas contract that Hunter signed with Chairman Xi Jinping and Vice President Wang Qishan. Hunter willingly allowed himself to be filmed engaging in crimes against humanity by the CCP, who required it as an insurance policy for their $4.5 billion deal.
2) The second hard drive contains blackmail against Xi and Wang; the financial records of their hidden offshore assets, as well as the outline of their so-called ‘Architectural Art Project’, which is their plan for the CCP to control not only 1.4 billion Chinese people but also the United Nations, the United States and all US Presidents going forward.
3) The third hard drive contains information about a virus and bio-weapons.
That these former high ranking CCP leaders, including the former Chairman, would be delivering such sensitive blackmail materials to the US Department of Justice suggests a schism occurring within the CCP structure. This is no surprise, given that Xi’s abolition of presidential term limits, his consolidation of power, his stepped-up censorship and anti-corruption purges have earned him some enemies, which include activist billionaire, Miles Guo, who is affiliated both with the above-mentioned Chinese dissident and with Steve Bannon.
Steve Bannon admits that he’s the architect of a coordinated roll-out of the Hunter Biden laptop contents, and he promises that there’s much, much more to come. Bannon says that he was brought into the project based on familiarity with corruption in America and within the CCP and this short video is a part of that.
Bannon told Revolver last week, “Joe Biden is a liar, a fraud, and compromised by Chinese cash. In short, he is a national security crisis. The hard drive combines emails and text messages that show a massive involvement with companies controlled by the Chinese Communist Party. Also, there are 25,000 images that show a drug-addled, depraved lifestyle — one that decent hardworking Americans will not want near the White House…
“The President must confront the director of the FBI on why the information housed on this hard drive was not moved on immediately. If the content of the hard drive had been released when received in November 2019, there would have been no impeachment of Trump, and Bernie Sanders would be the Democratic Party nominee. This confrontation should take place this weekend in the Oval Office. If Wray doesn’t have a bulletproof reason he should be fired in the room.
“It’s the actions represented on the hard drive that the American people must understand our enemies know about. The cash and equity given for access to Biden, the favors done for that cash, the drugs, the depravity. The CCP, Russian Intel, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Intel Services — they know the Bidens are for sale.
“The Bidens are about to be hit with multiple stories from multiple media sources based off evidence beyond the hard drive. Fox and Peter Schweitzer have already started but bigger more mainstream companies are going to weigh in. We already have set in motion the various apparatuses that will release everything.
“Rupert Murdoch’s team at the New York Post is as sophisticated and tough as there is in all media. They had the metadata and they signed off to go forward. The Russia excuse — and it is an excuse — collapsed when Fox verified the information with someone on the email chain. The Biden campaign has yet to say these emails or photos are not real. The reason? Hunter’s lawyer sent emails trying to recover the hard drive. These are real — the Bidens know they are real — and they are going to have to deal with that reality.”
Social media companies and mainstream media outlets are on a crusade, censoring anyone who challenges the “official” science and narrative behind the COVID-19 virus. It was only last week when Twitter removed New York Post’s bombshell stories about Hunter Biden. Then later in the week, Amazon purged political writer James Perloff’s latest book, “Covid-19 and the Agendas to Come: Red-Pilled,” from its platform for “violating content guidelines.”
With America descending deeper into an Orwellian state – Twitter has yet again banned another tweet, this time on Saturday, from Stanford professor and now White House advisor Scott Atlas.
Atlas tweeted Saturday morning that masks do not work to prevent the spread of the virus:
“Masks work? NO: LA, Miami, Hawaii, Alabama, France, Philippines, UK, Spain, Israel. WHO: “widespread use not supported” + many harms; Heneghan/Oxf CEBM: “despite decades, considerable uncertainty revalue”; CDC rvw May: “no sig red’n in inflnz transm’n”; learn why.”
Hours later, in a follow-up tweet, Atlas wrote:
“That means the right policy is @realDonaldTrump guideline: use masks for their intended purpose — when close to others, especially hi risk. Otherwise, social distance. No widespread mandates.”
As per a CNN report, Atlas’ tweet violated Twitter’s policy that “prohibits sharing false or misleading content related to Covid-19 that could lead to harm.”
The Federalist points out, in an emailed response via Atlas, an array of scientific data to back up his claim:
In the deleted tweet, I cited the following evidence against general population masks:
1) Cases exploded even with mandates: Los Angeles County, Miami-Dade County, Hawaii, Alabama, the Philippines, Japan, the United Kingdom, Spain, France, Israel.
2) Dr. Carl Heneghan, University of Oxford, director of the Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine and editor in chief of British Medical Journal Evidence-Based Medicine: ‘It would appear that despite two decades of pandemic preparedness, there is considerable uncertainty as to the value of wearing masks.’
(https://www.cebm.net/covid-19/masking-lack-of-evidence-with-politics/)
3) The WHO: ‘The widespread use of masks by healthy people in the community setting is not yet supported by high quality or direct scientific evidence and there are potential benefits and harms to consider’ (http://bitly.ws/afUm)
4) The CDC: ‘Our systematic review found no significant effect of face masks on transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza.’ (https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/eid/article/26/5/19-0994_article).
I also cited an article giving a detailed explanation of the reasons why masks might not prevent spread: https://t.co/1hRFHsxe59
The tweet and surrounding removal from Twitter come as US COVID-19 cases in the US surged above 70,000 on Friday, the highest daily reading since July 24. Atlas’ tweet was also linked to an article in the American Institute for Economic Research that argues masks are not effective against the virus.
By trade, Atlas is a distinguished neuroradiologist, though he is not an expert in infectious diseases. He’s gained a lot of attention on Fox News for his aggressive reopening strategies. He’s also in favor of the herd immunity strategy, in which elderly and vulnerable populations need to be protected. In contrast, he says, younger segments of the population are allowed to keep working and consuming.
Atlas’ former Stanford colleagues recently attacked him in a letter. Here’s what they said:
“To prevent harm to the public’s health, we also have both a moral and ethical responsibility to call attention to the falsehoods and misrepresentations of science recently fostered by Dr. Scott Atlas, a former Stanford Medical School colleague and current senior fellow at the Hoover Institute at Stanford University. Many of his opinions and statements run counter to established science and, by doing so, undermine public-health authorities and the credible science that guides effective public health policy.”
Atlas has seen his fair share of bans; not too long ago, the Hoover Institution released Atlas’s interview on YouTube, where the social media platform took down the video.
Alex Berenson, a former New York Times reporter who has been skeptical about the dangers surrounding the virus pandemic – recently tweeted:
“My (non-N95) mask protects me… 1 percent of the time.”
My (non-N95) mask protects me… 1 percent of the time.
From @cdcgov in 2018. Because masks work! pic.twitter.com/3nLqqxAAsk

Berenson appears to back up the tweet with CDC data…
Banning of alternative views, or maybe, even ones backed by science, if it goes against the official narrative, the leftist thought police will be out in force to censor.
This is a genuinely Orwellian culture. And if social media and mainstream media can silence a top government expert – they can silence anyone…
